@superstarshaker7402 the British surrender to the IRA as the knew they had arms supplies for a twenty years war.sinn fein got a international peace deal sign and prisoners of war release & sinn fein the largest party in ulster now & Westminster will pay them 17 billions a year to distribute . Plus Its under EU taxation same as dublin

Brian Stanley, Sinn Féin TD and the chairman of the Dáil’s public accounts committee PAC tweeted that the Kilmichael Ambush in 1920 which killed 17 members of the Royal Irish Constabulary’s Auxiliary Division, and the Narrow Water Ambush in 1979 which killed 18 British soldiers, taught the British army the cost of occupying Ireland. Pity for everyone they were such slow learners

It is also a pity it took 3500 deaths many children and most their own people before the people that want the British out realised that murder is not the way to achieve it.

More than 3,500 people were killed in the conflict, of whom 52% were civilians, 32% were members of the British security forces and 16% were members of paramilitary groups. Irish Republican paramilitaries were responsible for some 60% of the deaths, loyalists 30% and British security forces 10%.
