This is a video I have been longing to try and it's an interview-based chat from someone who has a KZfaq channel called Curious Goose. He was a nice chap and although very early days in his KZfaq career (3 weeks!), he seems he is in it for the long run.

Thanks Goose, I have put myself forward for the Teapotone podcast , But he looked at my channel and didn't think I had a story to tell, which is strange when I have as much of a story as some of the others he has had on there !?.....fact is I guess he has his circle of mates and I do similar to what some of them do . Hey ho!! It was a pleasure having you on and making the video with you. I still have one more in the can with you so that won't be for a few months yet TBH. As it happens, I think I did have the questions with me but I left them in my jacket but thought I put them in my topbox😂. Infact I think I asked most of the questions on there. I was looking at the comments and a lot of people had ideas of you interviewing people about their bikes instead of you doing bike reviews,i enjoyed this type of video because you are listening to people who have had day in day out experience with the bikes that you review so maybe it could be a new avenue for you to look into thanks any👍

@@exeterrider I did have a red nc once but was on my blue 650 Vstrom yesterday. I tried the Super Soco with a view to replacing my Kymco 125 but it didn’t have enough get up and go so I bought a Yamaha mt03 instead! Will make a point of speaking to you if I see you around again.

I enjoyed this, something different and you're really good at talking to/interviewing people, didn't feel forced, it was very natural. Funny you mention Halfway Inn, I'm in Birmingham but went to Cornwall last week on my Tiger 800, went through Dartmoor on my way home but went through the middle, stopped at the Warren House Inn for a break. What a ride.

Ayup 😜 Really great video, nice to hear another view. 125s are a difficult market but there are a few other bikes that are much more off road capable- Sym nht 125, mgb atx125 adventure, crf125 with mods, Mondial flatracker and a few more. The limiting part is the dealership for me. But the best for me has been 2 strokes! Cant ride on the road but those are really really capable! Maybe one for the garage? Oh yes, I'm from Derbyshire 🤣 but really missed travelling down together, that would have been fun! Hopefully next time we can try again! It was a really great day, even with the technical problems 🤣 thanks again and look forward to the next video! 🖖🏽 It's definitely cheating 😜 but it's that or nothing for me.

Enjoyed the chat. Well done with the format. Curious Goose seemed a pleasant chap to talk to. However, I cannot even begin to comprehend how someone who claims to love cars and bikes hasn't even got a licence after all these years. I passed my bike test at 16 (you could in those days), and my car test within 3 months of being 17. And lack of money is not relevant. I have been biking for 50 years, and never spent more tha 800 pounds on a bike. In fact up until a few months ago the most expensive bike I had bought was 300 pounds. So if he can afford to buy a new bike, albeit an inexpensive one, he could get his tests passed (car and bike). Incidently I have ridden my low cost bikes to the following countries: UK, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Andorra, Spain, Portugal and Morocco. A cheap bike can be an adventure bike!

Absolutely, any bike will take you anywhere. Yes, I guess we all take different paths in life. I had to drive at 17 to get to work 10 miles away. I couldn't wait to get on the road.

Brilliant brilliant video, the curious goose know his stuff and is a super interesting guy (now subbed his channel) The sinnis terrain looks more and more capable everytime I see it and hear people talking about it. If you have a full licence can it be derestricted? I especially like the final "long way round" scene right at the end, like watching ewan and Charlie ❤👍

It is not jus a good start bike, it is like every other bike, regardless of power, what do you want to do? Like buying a car, do you want an off road car, or city car or motorways car. It is that simple in my opinion. For me it ticks all the boxes. Speed (reasonable), power (irrelevant), style is good, carry luggage (good). 64 years old on an L plate on this bike, who cares.

That's one we spoke about off camera. I'm warming to it a lot, my only gripe would be the speed. Once I pass my test I do want something a bit quicker.

5:40 I like Curious Goose's pants. What are they, please? I wouldn't entertain a Chinese motorcycle as a matter of principle. Obvious reasons. I like the look of the BMW electric scooter. But just its looks.

Sorry to see your misfortune. Is this the automatic bike that you mentioned in your interview? I met an older Belgian couple 2 years running at the Aragon (Spain) MotoGP that had one of these. The rider was very happy with his. They had been touring around Spain and Portugal each time, and were then heading back home after the racing.

You would have been better of with a lighterwight 125cc Zontes zt 125. Makes no sense to get an adventure style bike that has no torque

Zontes are difficult to get hold of and they have no press bikes or marketing strength in the vlogging area. Zontes was also very new in the shops when this was filmed 2 or so years ago 👍 The sinnis still has enough torque for adventure riding.
