Steve is one of the nicest most humble people you ever want to meet. Did an interview in college with him during the album virtual xi and we had 15 minutes with him but he ended up talking to me and my co host for over an hour as he puts it, “it’s nice to talk to actual maiden fans instead of someone that just asks the same questions over and over.” Still have that interview on mini disk

@Ben Dover And your point? It was the mid to late 90s, every old school metal band had low points in popularity at that time. Now they're back to playing arenas and stadiums and debuting in the top 10 with new albums. Your half assed jab is pointless.

That is so cool to hear. Steve is my #1 hero and influence for playing bass and writing, usually with galloping rhythms that piss our guitarist off when we make him play those at the start of the set, heh heh. One hears of famous people that lose sight of us regular mortals, and I can only hope to meet Mr. Harris someday. It's mind-blowing how much he's accomplished!

Security caught them and said you either drop and give them a bunch of pushups, or they were out! So they did the pushups and got to stay! He said something to the effect of, "Maiden's writing is mostly from the bass while Judas Priest write from the guitars. I'm not saying that's right or wrong, it's just different." Maiden and Priest, yes, but I don’t think sabbath will. As much as I would love them to, Ozzy hasn’t been doing so well in terms of health.

if dio wasnt dead that could happen but because of Bruce running his mouth and Sharon reacting like a child that can never be.

well, it's fine because uuhh, I saw that myself and also "paun++++" something today, said,uh and they all said something about it. +++++ live I don't know I suppose the management is got to get the rest to get ready for something like that really but yeaa why not well to some degree, I mean I suppose the bands can you know, push for it to happen, but uhm yea I mean we'll see. Ohhh So many memories and I really love that album point of entry uh mm some people don't think it's their favorite priest album but I suppose cuz we was on tour I really liked it. That's what I got, anybody can help figure out whatever I got wrong or didn't get at all. Thanks

Be really cool to see both bands compliment each other by having them sing their favorite Maiden songs and then have the mighty Maiden belt out the Priest favorites, to close the show "living after midnight-Maiden & Priest both onstage to give the fans the best show on earth!! and you gotta have Bruce come out on the Harley at least once! and then have Eddie come out adorned in the leather-clad duds that Rob is famous for, call the tour "Heavy Metal Heaven" The Priest & The Beast on the Road again!!
