Wow! Your research, instruction and detail on how to use this is amazing. I learned a whole new way for shirts and other objects. This product and method would work really well for a Print and Cut design that is impossible to change into a Cut-only file for Infusible Ink because of its being too complex to break down. Thanks once again, Angie!

Love your video demonstration. Awesome job! That said, I would not recommend this product if anyone is planning on selling t-shirts or other washable products. With all the hype, Siser Easycolor DTV isn’t a replacement for sublimation ink printing what most KZfaq Content Creators had stated. They’re pushing this product as if it is the answers for sublimation ink printing replacement, it’s not! The product is good but not that good due to short longevity after a few wash. And the cost? It is way overpriced for a product that will only last after a few wash. The manufacture cost per sheet to make is around $0.03, but the retail price is anyway between $1.70 to $3.30 per sheet -CRAZY! Anyhow, if anyone planning to use this product for selling t-shirts or other products that will require wash will not be fear to the buyer, they will be disappointed after serval washings and may never buy from you again. I can see Siser DTV would be good for any products that does not require washing or just a few times during the years, handbags, wooded plaques, canvas art work, book covers, hats, lampshades, stuff animals or dolls clothing, etc…. So yeah, I would highly cautious to reconsider before investing and compare your other low cost options that will provide longevity on most materials. Again, this is for those who are sellers and your reputation is the key to success 😎

Hi Angie. I did purchase the Siser Easy Color DTV and pressed my first 2 shirts. Before I pressed, I did see a few reviews where people ended up in the rain and the color was dripping from their shirts. I wore the shirt I pressed last night. While making, it printed awesome, no issues weeding and no issues transferring. All was good until I spilled some water on my shirt. It had water spots on my dad's face. I washed it and alot of the color did wash out on first wash. I had another shirt that I added the Easy Color on and threw in the dryer hoping that would set the ink. No, it didn't. As soon as it came out of the dryer, I put some water on it and sure enough, the ink was dripping from the second shirt. Wondering what you did different. I used an HP 7100 printer.

I do have to say that the color does look good and actually better than before I washed it. I'm impressed with the image. Except...the HTV did bubble up in a couple of places. It may be that the material I put it on shrunk. But, the image is much better than I anticipated. I was ready to take this HTV off of my list but I think I will give it another try. Suggest that the fabric it is being put on is washed and dried before application to avoid the bubbling.

3G Opaque is dead to me lol. That stuff WAS the defacto material since 2009 to present, no more. Firstly, 3G had to change its backing paper years ago due to some lawsuit, so transfer tape no longer works with it. Second, it turns into a raisin after a few washes, not something you'd want to sell even for novelty... Gave Siser's EC DTV a try, blown away. This is the real deal. I think this rivals that of solvent printed vinyl t-shirt transfers on something like a BN-20, and I'm only using Epson's in house pigments (t542 bottled ink on a CISS with a wf-7610).

I made a t-shirt using Siser DVT and love the way it looks and feels! However, I don't think I pressed it correctly and some of the design corners are lifting. Is there a way to re-press it? I tried just using my Cricut Heat Press, but the hole design stuck to my butcher paper!

I use a teflon sheet over it and repress. Be sure to peel it off when hot though!

Hi Angie, Thank you for your videos. I used my epson ecotank and the color washed right out. I contacted Siser and they said I needed ECO Solvent Ink. Is that what you used? Thanks

My ink is pigment or dye based. Just a regular HP inkjet printer.

Hi Angie, can this be used on Neoprene? Can Cozzies, icy pole holders etc?
@AngieHolden
@AngieHolden 8 ай бұрын
You could use it on that. I would just say this is not very stretchy and typically those things need to stretch.

OK, it's been a year since Siser came out with this. I've just bought a 5pk of the DTV and TTD, and I'm not happy with what I'm seeing. Please tell me that Siser has made major improvements on this...i.e. easier transfer sheet transfer (no lifting from carrier sheet), longer wear (more than 15 washes), etc. Surely, in a year, with all the complaints, they've done SOMEthing to improve this product. Thanks for your awesome videos and product tests.

@@AngieHolden So basically, using the TTD is still a nightmare. OK, well, that will determine how I use my 5 sheets of EasyColor DTV, and probably keep me from buying anymore. THANKS! LOVE your videos!

Probably the shirt material. Sometimes it comes out after cooling down or washing.

I am new to everything and I tried the DTV on a 100% polyester Dri-fit shirt with the easy press on 340 *F for 15 seconds and I have a square outline on my shirt. Was I suppose to lower the temp so that I didn't burn it or did I use too much pressure using my body weight to press it?

Generally transfer papers do not last very long at all. I haven't tried Avery specifically but I have tried a few versions. This would last longer.

Could I use DTV to print out a photograph on my ink jet printer and iron it onto a shirt/ cotton tote bag, etc? I just got the teflon sheet so do I need to order a mask as well or can I just use the teflon sheet?

You can! The mask is more if you need to move small pieces. No need if there is just one large piece.

Hi, long time subscriber, new crafter, what is the difference between this and sublimation? To me a newbie, it looks the same? I'm about to buy an ink jet printer here in Australia, do you think a Canon pixar would be ok? Is the expensive ink jet printer always better than cheaper one? Thanks heaps

This sits on top of the shirt like HTV. Sublimation embeds in the fibers. Sublimation would also last longer.

I have a round Image that I want to make Larger than the Cricut limits. Can you make larger than mat images and merge them together on the Mask material? (I'd have to slice through the image and I am not sure if that would be super visible or not.) These are for shirts for Adults so 6.75 is a tad bit small and wastes a ton of material!

Yes you can slice though and do that. However, it will be visible on your final shirt.
