I can finally die happy knowing that Roger Ebert is a fan of Critters. It's about as satisfying as a warm slice of apple pie with a scoop of homemade ice cream.

theres alot of horror he gave good reviews for: dawn of the dead, re-animator, gremlins, poltergeist, wes craven's new nightmare, serpent and the rainbow, motel hell, final destination, scream, cabin in the woods, evil dead 2, return of the living dead, etc

Oh Police Academy, the franchise I completely understand their hatred for, yet I still will always cherish 1-4 for nostalgic reasons, and can still sit through them, introduce them to my daughter who loves them as well! Something about the majority of that franchise had more fun and goofiness than we expected, at least in my circle of friends.

Bonnie Bedelia has always been under-rated since They Shoot Horses Don't They?, to Heart Like a Wheel. Also, she is Macaulay Culkin's aunt.

When you listen Roger saying "They've done it again" about Police Academy 3, with that tired voice, you know is gonna be a funny review

ive never thought of police academy films as spoof films at all, they are just stupid comedies that some of us enjoy

Watching all these episodes (which I watched way back then) I realize how much I prefer Roger to Gene - although every once in a great while I agree with Gene and not Roger but that is incredibly rare. Gene is one of those "needs to be right all the time" types and that is why I find him annoying! (; But I love these shows, particularly for bringing me back to the 1980's and 1990's.
