B&M floorless coasters are not "cheep versions of inverted coasters", they give their own unique ride experience. B&M floorless coasters are often more expensive than inverts too.

I remember being in line for X (the original) and their computers running Windows XP kept getting the blue screen of death every time a new train returned to the statoin so they had to reboot/reset everything a TON of times. I was in line for almost 5 hours in the summer heat but DANG was the ride worth the wait. :D

Terminator Salvation the ride was insane. Not only was it a super fast incredible coaster, it had a soundtrack that tied it all together. It was a hell of an experience when I was 12.

I like to disagree about his comments on Aquaman. Anybody who reads DC comics know that Aquaman is a badass who could destroy the entire surface world if he wanted to. He's strong enough to actually send Superman fly with one punch, is bulletproof, can breath underwater, control all marine life ( including giant sea monsters), and is great at hand to hand combat. Anyone who thinks Aquaman is a useless hero obviously doesn't read comics or know what the hell they're talking about.

I rode x2 by accident I thought it just laid backwards the whole time so when I got to the drop and that spin kicked in I thought It broke and i was gonna die i literally screamed like a girl I prayed untill I got off I never ever ever want to ride a roller coaster again X2 made me retire from coasters I was Terrified honestly I was shaking almost bout to cry but my ex girlfriend was actin all koo about it so I played my roll

I was able to ride Goliath before I got to old to handle the rides. It was awesome. I never rode X, but my kids loved it.

Six Flags Magic Mountain holds a lot of records right know like most roller coaster in a theme park

Scream is the most underrated ride at Magic Mountain IMO. But I think my favorite is X2

My little brother almost fell out of Goliath when it's first stop after the two drops stopped midturn. He would've fell out if my dad wasn't there. Still one of my favorites

I'm from the Midwest and finally was able to check this park out in Feb 2016...while they closed Revolution and were converting it to The New Revolution 4D experience. Anyways, I agree with everything in this video EXCEPT your enthusiasm for Apocalypse. I was incredibly confused with the theming and your video helped clear that up. But that ride....not even close to the greatest wooden coaster that I have ridden. It a medium-sized wooden twister at best and the ride experience was quite underwhelming. Magic Mountain should totally scrap it and use the space to construct something like El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure, the best wooden coaster E.V.E.R. Maybe even best coaster ever.

Goliath is big but its child's play to me. You dont feel anything on it the drop is so tame. Dragster at Cedar Point is like king da ka but a little smaller at 420 feet and even though its only 17 seconds im sorry it blows Goliath away. Scream is awesome i love it. Scream would do better at a parked not a stacked.

God I was a braver kid than I thought I was I rode Goliath when I was seven and the the stupid gp that I was back then, I forced my dad to ask the ride op if their were any “loops” Why was I scared of that and not the other stats smh XD

X was so complex and so experimental and expensive it put the company that built it Arrow Dynamics out of business, due to that S&S worked on X2

Scream was incredibly painful and a ride I would never ride again and I would recommend staying away unless you want a headache for the rest of the day

It's funny how much you patted Goliath because to me it's the biggest snooze fest in the park (both physically and metaphorically), I've been on rides for kids that are more exciting Definitely agree with you about terminator though, best Woody I've been on (tho there's a good chance that's largely due to bias since it changed my perception on what a good ride is 😅), And yes, I still call it the same thing because, like you mentioned, they changed nothing about the ride aside from the name (plus the new name is stupid and I refuse to say it..)

goliath isn't that great.... fury 325, millenium force, apollos chariot, diamondback, goliath (six flags over georgia)), raging bull, nitro, and many more (and literally every other b and m hyper) are all better rides than goliath at sfmm. airtime is eh, and the ride isnt as smooth or as comfortable as b&m and intamin rides.

Its the biggest in the world, and a lot of tall drops dont just turn, some have many turns and stuff

Just went to six flags apocalypse is no More :/ still up but not reopening. As the sign in front put it...Edit X2 worked great #1 tatsu #2 & twisted colo #3 all worked all 2x 😎 but the new spin doesn’t look like much dare u not hold the bars the entire ride! I did but those last 2 wooshs almost 🤢 a 1st 4 me as an adrenaline junkie it’s my #4 enjoy but You’ve been warned lol... Ps Green lantern down as well for couple months.
