I'm going to set up a separate bank account for my video poker play. I think combining VP ATM Bank withdrawals with my regular bills is screwing me up, like I'm trying to juggle too many expenses at once. Good tip - Thank You.

Henry- as you know (because I played beside you), Islandview Casino in Gulfport, MS was the last great VP frontier in this region (due to the points x promo). Upon the removal of their 9/6 JOB in 2015, there are no remaining +EV machines available anywhere on the MS Gulf Coast, even with player's club benefits. The only thing close is IP in Biloxi, offering 9/6, but terrible club promos ($30/point, 1000 points/ $1 CB). I imagine this is a national trend. Seems like all casinos have wised up to the fact that the game is beatable under certain conditions. Too bad, it was a good game. If I'm wrong, please let me know.

you dont have to buy video poker games. they are available as flash games on many websites for free, some even have hints and odds built in.

They are not video poker games just for playing. They are sophisticated programs that calculate how to correctly play your hands as there is only one mathematically correct way to play any hand. . You can then play the game and be warned if you make any mistakes. It will also keep track of your errors and tell you how correctly you are playing.

yes but the video poker game i use most often is Freeslots. com and theres an option for it to give you a list to see where youve made mistakes in previous hands, also a trainer option giving you percentages on your current hand.

If you are just learning to play, they are all good. However if you need strategy charts to help you on the go then Optimum Play is your best bet. It lets you print strategy charts for any game

Does all this work on online video poker too?Because there is only one casino in my city and there arent any video poker slots.Only on slot machines there is american poker 2 (which is actually a german game) but that game is definetely not worth playing

If the the video poker machines are regulated then it would work the same way. If the games aren't regulated then you can't be 100% sure that they are working in the same manner.

+wardn53 We publish a list of all casino coupons here - www.americancasinoguide.com/2015-american-casino-guide-coupon-list.html Some of the 2-for-1 food coupons can be used by a single person for 50% off, rather than 2-for-1. On that list it will tell you which coupons allow them to be used in that manner.

Question on Video poker wagering. I if start with $5 total, bet $5 and win $5 shouldn't I be able to leave with a total of $10? In craps if you bet 5 and win 5 on the pass line you get your original 5 back plus what you win. In the video poker simulators this is not so. Seems like you get nothing for a pair of jacks except your original 5 back.

+wardn53 In video poker the odds are expressed as "for one" rather than 'to one." In "for one" bets the house keeps your original bet. In "to one" bets you are given back your original bet along with your winnings.

it will rise with less than 100% bayback? Most casinos have comps but they are all different. Don't believe that you can make much money with it. Ok lets calculate 100,2% payback with comps. Imagine I need 10 seconds for every hand = 360 per hour. To earn 10 $ per hour you would need 14 $ per hand or 5000 $ per hour and bankroll greater than 30.000 $.

Anno1602player There is a graphic in the video that says you need to combine the players club benefits, along with max bet and perfect strategy, on full-pay machines in order to make money over the long run. Regardless of how little money you make, you are still making money rather than losing money on slot machines, which is what most people play. Not only are you losing on slots, you are probably losing at a rate of around 10%, or higher.

americancasinoguide the truth is that I am addicted to REAL Gaming. I grew up with a super nintendo, nintendo 64 and later a computer. I play pretty much everything, shooter, racing games, jump and run, RPG's, strategy games. ALL casino games are totally lame and boring in my opinion, even Blackjack and video poker (however not as boring as slots). Even poker against other players become boring after a while and I would only play these games if you could win some money (at least 10 $ per hour). I can't understand why somebody play these games, unless they make big money. I would play any game, no matter the odds if it is fun to play. For example a old arcade game (graphic quality doesn't mean anything to me). Of course I could play these games for free (have to pay for computer and electricity bill) at home but playing these games in a casino ambience would be much better, I even meet some new people.

Anno1602player Nevada just legalized slot machines based on skill, but they are still working out the details of how they will work and how they will be regulated. We will be doing some videos on these new games as they are introduced. However, it will probably be at least six months before they start appearing in casinos.

americancasinoguide I just google "slot machines based on skill" and found some interesting sites. I still have no idea how this arcade-style gameplay could look like but it sounds good. Maybe like a traditional arcade or console game (run from left to right and jump over enemies) and if you win a slot game appears. I think that is a good idea to attract younger gamer because most of my friends (I am 26 by the way) grew up with super mario and co and that is (even as adult) much more fun to play as hitting one button. I am excited to see your video about these new games. But it could take decades until they appear in Germany.

+americancasinoguide Don't some slot and video machines already feature a "skill based" bonus? I understand that in many of these games it's perceived, but these games exist to a point, or am I mistaken?
