We have been to Skagway, AK, twice! The 1st time, we walked down along the painted cruise wall....at the end of the dock, instead of hoing left in town, we took a right, there is a small hidden hiking trail, up that mountain, and at the top...a beauty of a glacier lake, we saw Bald eagles, bear furm on the bark of a tree, and sat on huge boulders and just took in thebesty for awhile. Then the 2nd time, we took the train into Canada and took a tour thru the Yukon, yes we did get into Carcross, and got our passport stamps, then went back into the AK, closer to North Pole and Fairbanks, took a bus down to Denali, spent a few days in the Princess Lodge there, and then a train back into Anchorage. Two terrific trips! You are making some great Memories, that you both will never forget! Love your Drone footage of the Bear on the rail track. Dorry it then took a dive! The bear footage was beautiful! I'm glad you survived the drone recovery. Scary. Good to know Adam had your back with a go fund me, lol!! Back on the ship, ready for another day. Good food at the buffet. I love Miso soup. Pizza for days.

Wow!!! Just WOW!! Also, just in case you guys ever want to try, The Sea Salt Creamery in Star has really good homemade ice cream and an AWSOME gluten free chocolate cake. When you find a good gluten free treat, it's a win.

Add apple sauce to muffin mix and it makes them so moist n delicious my step dad was gluten free it definitely helps with the dryness

We will be going on our third Alaskan cruise. The first two were with NCL and Princess this time. July 10th on the Discovery Princess. Being able to look outside and enjoy the absolutely beautiful scenery. We have seen whales from the ship and hope that we will see more this time. We are crossing our fingers hoping that we will be able to stop in Skagway! I think that they are alternating between Royal Caribbean and Princess for a space to dock the ship. They are going to stop on Thursday this week and hope that we will be able to stop!

I know how you feel about the stamps to passports. Lots of places don't do it anymore but iceland stamped for us. I was so excited lol. The bear footage was amazing. All the animal petting was so entertaining. Lol. Which was your favorite animal you fed?

Excellent review. This is the second Alaska trip of yours I’ve followed and on both you included drone footage. I’m going next year and would love to bring my Mavic, but everything I’ve read from Princess bans someone from even bringing a drone on the ship. Is that still the case? Thanks

Amazing footage of the black bear! I'm looking to cruise first time next year and want to bring a drone. Princess cruises listed drones on prohibition item list. How did you get yours past Princess' prohibited item policy? Did they inspect your carry-on's and luggage during boarding? Did you have permission, if so, how?

Thank you! Honestly, we didn't even think about it. I always carry my drone in my camera bag. They didn't say anything but next time I won't be bringing it! Ha! 🤣

A guard dog might be a good idea once the boys are old enough to be left by themselves for a couple of hours. With a daughter on the way, Justin could use all the help he can get in protecting his girls.

@@OurZRoll I recommend researching the different types of shepherds if you ever want a good guard dog. My family has had both Shiloh and German Shepherds. They require a lot of dedicated training, but if you stick with it, they are capable of turning into great dogs.
