I skied there in 1972. Coors beer was actually good back then. The first day it was a little icy because it hadn't snowed in a week. They were offering a partial refund if you turned your ticket in by noon because of the conditions. (Who does that?) The ticket was $50 for 6 out of 7 days, or $8 a day. It's so big (like Jackson Hole) they need to close lifts down progressively so Ski Patrol can do sweeps. The Big Burn is my all time favorite cruiser.

@LucasCatania172 жыл бұрын
Yes boots are the most important. They deliver the most performance in my opinion and without a proper fitting boot, it doesn’t matter how good of skis or bindings you have. Skiing is so much about feel and being able to edge properly and that simply comes from your boot. Definitely buy a solid pair of boots and rent everything else!

Wow erode Snowmass all day after riding islands and hiking twice and then you drove home to Park city on the same day! That’s pretty epic man, I’m glad you got to Snowmass I’d say it’s my favorite resort if Telluride doesn’t have great Snow. I look forward to your Telluride visit but I don’t think they’re going to have the conditions that make that place glorious yet still worth a trip it’s like skiing in the Alps it’s so beautiful. Do you need to quit your job and do this thing full-time. That’s what I did, I’m just working in the summer now living in my truck camper and chasing the snow all winter. Just spent two weeks at big sky, maybe my favorite resort in the lower 48. Anyways happy travels.

thanks man! was definitely surprised with how awesome it was out there! it looks like some of the upper mountain at telluride isnt open which is totally a bummer but oh well. can only do so much with 76" base... and i wish man! not that simple when you factor in things like health insurance, 401K etc. the channel will die down quite a bit here in the next month so while its great in the winter, i dont think its sustainable as a full time gig but maybe i'm wrong.
