Rammus was underleveled, that's why Quinn fought him. But, apparently she doesn't know very well why Rammus is hilarious in low elo (or she probably did, but underestimated it). I would've gone straight for the other two enemies and ignored Rammus. I have 120K mastery on that champion, and I know that once Rammus has enough health, he's unkillable for any AD champ.

@@flyingcactus1953 Depends, but at least for Fiora and Jax, it's difficult. Yeah, they can tank a lot, but Rammus usually has Thornmail, so their healing is just gone. Vayne has to play smart. ADC after all.

@@HappyGick a full build Fiora pretty much just vaporize Rammus with her %HP true damage though Jax is incredibly tanky with ultimate and he also deal mixed damage. Vayne need to be careful indeed

well basically. but thats happening like never. this is really hard to not screw up and while also not to die to ganks and stuff. But yeah, thats why this is even considered a counterpick. Its completly deleting the enemy out of the game when played correctly. If the Malphite would have done what Quinn has done Malphite would have been the winner of that game. Quinn would be perma splitting while loosing the map. But Malphite just kept tickling at those towers. League is hard. Even harder for now, because countermatchups arent as 1 dimensional anymore. You have to play perfectly to delete the enemy out of the game.

Learning how to get carried and allowing your team to carry you, is a skill, in itself, that everyone should pick up.

@@craftymindgaming well. if this matchup is played right Kayle is out of the game. the only thing Kayle could maybe do is get lucky in roaming around. Because she cant ever get xp from the lane anymore. If Kayle has a jungler that can basically 1v3 the enemy then she might call him over everytime Irelia builds up a freeze to break it. Thats the only possible solution for Kayle to not just be an ult bot. Irelia is hard diving minion waves and with her Q she can keep zoning the enemy out of xp range while getting every single last hit. This lane played out perfectly this game turns into a 5v4.

well, one thing you can do is go hide in a bush and ask one of your teammates to type "report kayle afk" in all chat and hope irelia reeds that and starts pushing, so you can freeze again. A bit cheesy though but works sometimes.

If you aren’t low elo,this video isn’t for you.The whole point of the video was to explain what players in low elo can do to win these types of matchups.I don’t think them showing a Kayle vs Irelia counter pick in GM would have shown what can be done

for me its , if u have advantage freeze wave and try to poke as much as u can and kill the enemy when u get the chance and if you are countered then just play safe and farm under tower and wait for jungler to gank

What she did the first 5 minutes. Take the safe cs and wait for it to crash eventually. Counter Matchups are not fun but they aren't impossible. Be patient and hope your team will carry you.

Well honestly IN the lane absolutely nothing, what kayle could probably do is to immediately treat the just frozen wave as a crashed wave and roam while still relevant and try to boost her jg or midlane forcing irelia to maybe follow or break the freeze. If she follows try to quickly break the freeze by crashing the wave top. If that doesnt work just pretty much perma roam, leech xp from your *own* lane take krugs occasionally, try to take top side enemy jg when drake is up. Idk man what im trying to say is youre pretty much doing all that you can to not be a minion.

Freeze the wave in the middle or under your tower and chat/ping your jungler for a gank. Be patient cause in low elo they will have a slow response or non at all. If you get no ganks, just try to build up your wave then crash and recall. Keep doing this for HP and Mana (also to buy items). Hope that your team is doing well on the other side and eventually you will get a gank.

True, I was Garen vs Akshan. Most miserable time ever. Perma Bannin him ever since. Even my Gangplank enemy yesterday or the countless Teemos are more endurable than this swinging hobo Akshan.

The games I get a S+ on Trynd are the ones where I ban a Temmo one trick. They actually don’t know how to play top lane. They just know how to be an anti carry.

@@iFParasit Look for opportunities, roam instead of trying to 1v1 them since you are already counterpicked. Blame no one except yourselves. All of you low-elo players always make an excuse as to why they can't do that and this. Yet you haven't made an excuse as how to get better. Most of you always look for a shortcut instead of actually trying to improve(if you want to that is)

Problem is diamond is only 2% of the playerbase, whereas plat and below is like 98% of the playerbase, so they have guides for those players as it's more likely to get views. Still tho many concepts from these vids can be used against high elo players. Like cheater recalls for example

Your problem here is probably in your starting items and runes. Dorans shield plus an mr rune (and if needed some medling into the determination tree) really soften his poke by quite a large margin.

There's a lot that they've already produced if you're just starting out. I'd check out the Nama series (Bronze to Diamond), and anything in their catalog about Bot lane.

Wow man I don't know what your rank is but don't underestimate tanks damage at early levels especially when you have almost the same stats... youre maokai right? Then you should know what those saplings are for then. You have a root and a small knock back. If nasus pushes, punish, if he freezes, go for small traded, sapling-root-knockback-run to the bust to disable minion aggro Why I know this? Because I recently spamming nasus

@@maricchichie3987 it is good strategy to counter nasus, if he is stupid enough to always stay near the bushes. It is too hard to push nasus to sapling if he always stays on the right side of the lane. Yeah, i can small trade with him even without sapling but the problem is, that he has his 12%(or 13% don't remeber exactly) lifesteal passive that neglates most of my damage. I don't underestimate damage of tanks and i know that tanks like ornn or cho'gath can crush you, but tanks that are rely on sustain rather than on damage can't do nothing about nasus. I'm plat by the way.

@@blexi4ek882 you are not supposed to win 1v1 against nasus. You should try to keep the wave in your side so your jungle can gank you and leave lane wherever possible to help your team to snowball game.

They can't zone you out of exp under your tower. Stay under tower, wait for 6/a gank and then kill them

@@giannisr.7733 Above gold they freeze lanes, that is the main objective as a top lanner. Freezing and zoning enemy top off exp range so it becomes a 5v4 game. To top it off vayne/ Teemo/ Jhin can right click you or use abilities while not taking tower shots at all, other melee champions like Darius, Pantheon, Tahm even llaoi can do this too. At this point junglers might even decide not to help top, since the time invested and risk involved outweights helping mid and bot lane. And you cant "bounce" the wave (pushing the wave to enemies tower) early game so that the next wave will meet closer on your side as effectively as playing on mid since the lanes are longer. I feel like top lane is decided on pick phase (who counter picks who) as long as the counter picker manages his wave perfectly.

i'm botlane, I see this happen your pings are not really what we care about, we have eyes, we can see the map. they're helpful reminders at best but are not what will keep the game going. if everytime the viktor dips out of his lane for a fake roam or a b and you mad ping us, at some point I'm gonna have to take that risk and make my plays in my lane because, you know, game won't win itself, and there's only so many wards I can plop down if i have to ward out the zac also. What however does help is warding with an almost religious fervor. Make sure you always have a pink on the map, preferably to the side you think viktor is going to be looking to roam to (likely bot). Coordinate with your support and jungler for wards if possible. If i'm your support in your game i'll love you for it also in lower elo it is especially helpful if you detail these things as the game starts, cause people won't know. Your botlane may legitimately not understand that viktor is a pushing machine. When i was still in gold or something and playing toplane I'd specify precisely that my lane is going to be rough, when and how my jungler can gank, and I'd keep mad track of enemy Tp for my bot making sure they know exactly what's going down. Forget pinging their flashes and TP, go back to oldfashioned timing, Darius TP 0930 and reminder when it's back up.

Stay in exp range if that's at all possible. If you're gonna die doing that, you're shit out of luck. All you can do is roam, secure vision and try to bait the enemy into breaking there own freeze. Something as simple as walking to your tower and waiting 5 seconds while they scout for you can be enough. Remember - they want to recall sometime too. Also remember, If they have a frozen wave, they lose a lot to contest your roam, or they don't get to join the numbers advantage fight at all.

Your strength in that matchup is your engage post level 6. You should not try to harrass zyra/jhin early, but you can fight them post level 6. Both of you can get on top of either jhin or zyra with your ultimates. Dont go for a hyper scaling build. Instead, opt for an earlier and cheaper powerspike. Maokai is pretty potent at diving as well. Slow pushes are your friends and if you can set up bush control with saplings thats a + as well, cause you can dip in and out to maybe freeze a wave in front of tower which you otherwise wouldnt be able to hold.

@@faselfasel2864 See that's a great plan and mentality but I'm too impatient and will feel terrible giving up farm so by the time I hit 6, Maokai is flaming me, I'm flaming our jungler for letting them push 7 waves in a row to tower, and we are both 0/3/1. But yeah that's why I'm gold.

@@miladsammouh4741 You have to think about scaling and teamcomps. How are 2v2s playing out later. How are dragon fights gonna look as 4v4s. How are 5v5s gonna look? If Maokai opts to go tanky after mandate, you need to give him some time to scale, cause he wont be tanky after first item, which means either way you are looking at a 25+ minutes game with that matchup when you want to win, unless ridiculous things happen in mid/top/jungle. Jhin hits his power spikes much earlier than you and zyra does as well. If you take a step back, you realize that your job here is to keep up in farm as best as possible, keep as much tower platings alive as you can and not die to lose xp. It's not a problem that they will eventually take your tower or get 20cs ahead, as long as you farm and get xp. Give the enemy a chance to make mistakes :)

Everything is situational. Get every free last hit you can, but don't lose a ton of health just to get a single caster minion (especially in a bad matchup where you can get punished easily).
