The Phoenix Suns made use of home court advantage and went up 2-0 last night with a 118-to-108 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Giannis Antetokounmpo had a game-high 42 points but it was the Suns combination of 81 points from Devin Booker, Chris Paul and Mikal Bridges that was too much for Milwaukee to handle. Holiday and Middleton have to guard Booker, Bridges and CP3 that’s a lot of work on defense. When players exert to much energy on defense it has a negative impact on their offense.

Because he didn't make them better. They stand around watching him dibble and dink around trying to get to his dunk. Offense doesn't move. Players get stale watching him do his thing. It's why they put up better numbers when he's not there. They aren't standing around watching 1 guy do his thing. Yes I know that's the NBA now. 1 guy dibbling and then jacking up his shot first. Maybe he passes it to a shocked team mate with zero on the shot clock. Then everyone is shocked when the player forces up a shot and misses. Then the fans cry, "well if he had more help." The battle cry of today's so called superstar. "We win because of me. We lose because of you." Sadly fans don't find that odd at all. Welcome to today's NBA. Point fingers at everyone but me. "I got my empty numbers."

As a Bucks fan, I was cringing for the past few years listening to fans & NBA analysts constantly call Middleton 'Underrated.' Now that the Bucks are nationally televised more & all eyes are on them, everyone finally knows why Bucks fans are always frustrated with him lol. He's better than average for sure, a borderline Allstar, but the dude is not a great 2nd option. I think he'd be a great 3rd option though.

Problem with those types of guys. When they are hot, they are as good as anybody in the league. But they are inconsistent. They have more bad games than they have good ones. And with that average, that is not a winning build. You cannot depend on them to give you 20-30 every game. And in the playoffs, consistency is the key to winning.

Skip is a clown. Does he know that without him on the floor The Bucks would of been blown out? He could put up 50 on 70% shooting and he’ll still find a way to discredit him. You can’t blame him for Middleton and Holiday shooting horribly this game. Holiday missed so many lay ups, you had to question whether he belonged here or not. I can understand if Holiday and Middleton were in a groove, but they never had a groove to begin with. So as a superstar, it is your job to put the team on your back - is it not? I can also understand if he was inefficient, but dude pretty much made all his shots in the 3rd, what more can you ask for? He deferred to both of them so much in the first half and they didn’t produce, so he had to go off because if he didn’t the narrative would be “Well, Giannis should of done more.”
