Could you do a video on how to remove/replace outer scraper seal clip? These are impossible to find now, so I thought I could scrap some from wrecked car, but also looking at my Fabia I'm not really sure how I would even remove them in the first place.

Hi,yes they seemdifficult to get hold of, so a a good one off a scrapper would be best. I may try that myself. The whole thing just pulls off upwards :-)

Great video. How hard isit to do the smaller window next to it. Mine was smashed over weekend and id rather do it myself than go through insurance

@HatBoyHarvey what a pain that was. Couldn't put the 2 rubber things back in and now ones fallen in the hole.🙈 smaller windows fixed but cant use main one for time being

Won't the speaker get in the way mounting the winding handle mechanism?

You will have to temporarily re-attach the switch to lower the glass.

You can detach the motor and slide the window down manually.

Hi guys need some help ( advice ). I have a mk1 skoda fabia and just recently the central locking is randomly locking and unlocking on its own while I'm driving, I've checked the battery on the fob and it's at full charge also when the passenger door is slammed shut the central locking engages. One more thing sometimes when I lock the car by with the remote key fob the rear door passenger door doesn't lock, sorry for the essay but it's really annoying because I have to go round the car just to make sure the car is secure when I Park up. Any help would be much appreciated. Just to add the rear passenger door lock does and doesn't lock randomly when using the remote key fob but seems to lock everytime when manually locking the car with the key in the door.

Have you checked the wires inside the rubber door bellows? my mk2 had some really strange electrical gremlins (wires shorting or broken)

More than one thing can cause such a behaviour. Most likely cables in cable grommet connecting pilar and rear door are broken, other causes can be faulty lock in that one door or just faulty mikroswitches in the door lock which collects the status of the lock. ie if it is locked or not or if the doors are open or not. These switches go faulty very often, sometimes you can buy just replacement switches other times whole lock must be replaced. Also the Komfort System control unit can be faulty. VAG diagnostics would help here, to read the faults. Number of this unit in VAG is i think 46. If you or someone else knows how to use VAG you can also see actual status of door locks and what is happening with them.

As above - Cables/connections going into drivers side door, easy check then if no joy take off the drivers door panel check connections/test then look to taking off inner panel and door catch and micro switch - replace either the whole catch or just microswitch.

A másik dolog még az hogy a két hátsó ajtón ha esik az eső vagy ha mosom a kocsit akkor be folyik a víz ezek miért vannak gumi kéder csere lenne?

@@tamasdancs6321 Köszönöm, be kell zárnia a belső ajtó hátsó paneljének alját, kérjük, nézze meg a videót: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Zraam9KGls2pp58.html A forrón beragadt fűtés gyakori hiba a bal oldali flipper motor vezérlésében, a belső levegő ventilátor által. Próbálja meg sokszor a fűtési beállítást melegről hidegre fordítani, várva mindkét oldalon 30 másodperc / oldal. Ez elháríthatja a hibát, mivel ez felülírja a hőmérséklet-szabályozó egység vezérlését. Ha nem szerencsét, akkor meg kell nézni a flapper motort (kézzel el lehet forgatni, hogy segítsen a működésében), vagy cserélje ki. A flapper motor cseréjéhez a vagcom OBD2-re lesz szükség a beállítások visszaállításához. Remélem, hogy ez segít, és megértheti. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jpaRY8KpnNeZkY0.html :-)
