That questchain was amazing, it really set the bar high on the quality scale of what Warcraft can be, both now and in the future.

9:09 I kinda disagree with the tone here. As a roleplayer, I think the choosing of a clan is an amazing way to seal the deal on what we want for our orc. I had an orc in the closet who was supposed to be a Warsong, but that part of him never felt earned in his entire story and just a throwaway anecdote. Now I made a solid in-game choice that defined my character and finally said "that guy's a Warsong !" it's a really neat rp element in my book ! :D

Even as an Alliance main I have to say, this questline was amazing, the best one we've had in a long while. I hope Blizzard realizes that this is what we want more of, more focus on the culture and way of lives of the races we play as. We want to return to the old world some day, hopefully with an overhaul and have more focus on the races and their traditions. Please Blizz, let it happen some day. A bit sad Durotan and Draka didn't have some interaction with Thrall, especially Durotan. Not to mention with Durak, their grandson.

One other thing to note is just how it compliments Dragonflight as a whole. Dragonflight is all about going back and moving on from there, and this quest line is exactly that. Blizzard went back to scrapped plans (Dragon isles and the Emerald dream zone) and the Orcs went back to their old ways. It's just so good to see that Blizzard still knows how to write after the rather huge mess of a Shadowlands (And BFA, but BFA still had some really dam good parts like the pre-patch burning of teldrassil, Jaina and her mother, King Rastakan and how he had to be blessed by Good ol Bwommy and etc)

This is the first quest I've done that took me almost 2 hours for what would usually take me 15mins max. I read EVERYTHING and interacted with EVERY NPC that was there. Hands down one of the best quest chains wow has ever produced.

I really liked this quest-line too. It made sense that Kosh'harg took place near Oshu’gun due to the effect the crashed vessel had on their ancestor spirits, but I think this is a “healthier” version. I 100% agree that Kosh'harg should be a Horde Holiday for all the member races/allies to take part in. FOR THE LORD OF CLANS!

Loved this quest line, definitely one of my favorites But as a Troll Druid main, i can't wait for their heritage quest line. I hope it involves Voljin and the Loa, so Blizz can finally show how Voljin becomes the new Loa of Kings since they teased that in Shadowlands

I hope the Mag'har from Alternate timeline Dran start to blend into the normal Orc factions rather then seeing them two different people. But that might remove the 'race' identity between the two of them. Like the Shadowmoon clan does live on in Azeroth by the AU Orcs and such.

When I first started playing the game years ago the orcs were one of my least favorite race of the Horde (even though they started it all😆) but now after time past they became one of my favorites. Doing this quest chain just strengthening love and respect for the orcs. Not to mention it has been a while since I had fun doing a quest chain like this.

This quest line for sure made me tearful, this is wat i wanted for the orcs, almost want to get back to wow. I am very excited for the orcish roleplay community and the possibilities of events that could truly thrive thanks to this questline.

Gorfax angerfang is a bit of a lore hiccup I find. Since he is the target of a quest in the wetlands where alliance are sent to kill him and 16 drsgonmaw orcs.

I hope the orcs chieftains and clan members could stay inside of orgrimmar maybe get some clan decorations to show off the orc clans in the horde like how we see the Tauren, Goblins and trolls inside the city as well

You forgot Rageroar clan. They have Darkspears too, but if there are 'Blue Tauren', who's to say there aren't ,Blue Orcs'.

What about the chieftain Tagar Spinebreaker who is still alive according to the lore because there was never a quest that required players to kill him.. What about the remaining orcs of Bonechewer clan which was part of the old Horde? Why Blizzard forgot this character and his clan?

Of all the race heritage questlines, I think this is by far the best one. I think everyone who plays WoW for a long time now and even played any of the Warcraft games will get hit in the feelings in one way or another. When I saw all the orcs gathered around the tables, I was like - oh I know this one and his story and this one too and that one. It was a very well thought and Blizzard really put some effort to make it look awesome, especially for those of us who know a thing or two about the in game lore.

So these ghosts (Draka, Surfang etc) are summoned from Shadowlands for a moment? How does it work?

It's nice... if you don't factor in the whole "jailer eats soul/make mortar out of them". Also look at mini-thrall and his hellscream look, now don't go and Nuke stormwind mkay?

I loved this so much, as a person who fell in love with orcs because of Warcraft's portrayal of them. It definitely conflicts with my head canon, but oh well. My orc main (since 04) is a hunter named Korgath. He is the son of Kargath, but was thrown aside due to being born weak, his mother dying in childbirth. He was found and adopted by a warrior of the Bleeding Hollow and his wife. I had a whole arc of him claiming his birthright as chieftain of the Azerothian Shattered Hand. Then they make a trek to Outland to face his father and the fel-traitors. They fight, and in Kargath's last moments his mind clears and they speak. And through magic, the surviving fel orcs of their clan are cleansed (like what was done with Grom in WC3) and accepted back into the clan. I'm still choosing to believe that Korgath son of Kargath is the Chieftain, with Thega, Gordul and Garona being three of the five Fingers of the Hand underneath the chieftain.

Garrosh should have been there.

I wish we still had the original Orc Clans from our own timeline. Ever since WoD, it's like bliz just imposed the history of those clans into our own timeline, and now we all pretend black orc clan history on draenor is the same as black orc history on azeroth for some reason :/

I disagree. They homogenized all Orc clans at once, effectively making them reskinned versions of the Frostwolves. That's pretty boring and honestly a horrible development for Orc lore as a whole.

I kinda never had a problem with the whole clanless thing to be honest, since when Thrall united the ragtag bunch of lifeless orcs the whole clan thing lost it meaning. Hope that Thrall son become the greatest orc chef
