BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE - THERE IS A CLEARANCE ISSUE
The Skunk2 ecosystem does not clear each other. The throttlebody will NOT CLEAR the intake manifold combined with spacer. I found this out the hard way while trying to install it. It previously fit without the spacer, but with it added, the throttle-body is unable to open. We will be getting an adaptor/spacer made to fit this throttlebody. Will be shown and discussed in a future video soon.

The tb should have came with a skunk2 tb thermal gasket. If not just buy. Thermal gasket and it should fit. I have the same set up

Did you ever solve the throttle body fitment issue? Did you use a thermal gasket?

The issue was never the gasket, it was clearance due to the intake spacer hitting the throttle body. Had it machined down a notch to clear.

@@DIVINERPMyou need to listen other people the issue with that manifold and the Tb is that if you just install the thermo gasket and problem solve without notch anything I talking because I have exactly the same setup and i just put the thermo gasket and that is

@@3030rey Are you saying if I use the gasket on the Tb, it will clear the intake spacer? I needed more space than the thermal gasket because im running the intake spacer.

theres a spacer on your intake many take it off mines dont have it on it

Yes, we added the spacer to clear P/S and surrounding parts.

In the future, I'd like to do a one to one cable vs DBW comparison and actually delve into it with circuit data. The car will of course be DBW, just not at the moment

Using this belt: Gates Micro-V Belt 7PK1740 This is for K24A3
