@@Tharealmiddleg In this regard I'm with him. While some Whiterun guards were helping in the battle against Mirmulnir he was roleplaying as a random guard, not the Dragonborn.

To save of killing Riften guards, go to Shor's Watchtower, there are 4 dead guards, they don't have a Riften guard shield but not all Stormcloak allied guards have them, (warning: if you take the Rift for the empire, the guards will wear Imperial light armour.)

Finally, someone i can relate to! as a security guard, i spend my time antagonizing people out of boredom. You'd be surpised at how fun it is to rile people up; vey similar to petty high school humor. Ah, those were the days.

@@Tokogawa100 let me tell you some bits & pieces :) There are some disturbing aspects of the job and the other is light-hearted dumb incidents. First, here's some exposition: I work the front construction gate for a goverment-funded project, it's a pretty big deal and it is expected to be completed within 4 years. That means construction is on 24/7, all day & night. Think hundreds of labourers, managers, safety, ect. Ect with people comes problems, and also accidents. This week a guy fell off the 6th floor and became paste on the floor. Pretty gruesome stuff. So, i encounter hundreds of workers every shift to grant them access or deny entry. My god, i feel like i met every type of person. The "i'll call the police for noise complaint" neighbours, the weasels who try to smooth talk their way in, some 'hustlers' who offer after-shift "companionship." You know, any ridiclous person you can make up, i encountered. I've met the creepy questionable types during my night shift, i've also met The Karen types in morning shifts. This fucking office worker came up to me whining about a stolen parking lot while i was in the middle of checking exit pass at the gate. (Making sure no one takes anything into or out of the site.) i told the dummy to park someplace else. The office worker doesn't even work at the site, he's from the building next to ours. the office worker then procceded to make a scene for a whole hour till my supervisor came in. At this point i'm just agitating the dude as much as i can. He threw the usual "you're not doing your job and i will get you fired." Taunts, i threw back a "your mother didn't do her job either." Let's just say this playground insult match continued until my superior arrived. My supervisor is also a seasoned security guard, point blank told the office worker to kick rocks. I wish i could you show how badly his pride was hurt, genuinely looked like this is the first time this dude ever been told to fuck off. It was amazing.

You should use some kind of a mod that makes all guards loyal to you so they never attack you and always attack your enemies. This in not oblivion where guards attack each other every 20 seconds or so.

0:45 technically, you can lie about some place you made up that is apparently real and go fight a dragon with perfect precision accuracy with a bow and let eary-meth be the sponge towards the dragon… and loot the dragon with a full set of guardsman ware… or wear, or whatever. Also throw a pebble at the court mage.

You can take the whitrun guard armor from jarl palace. In proventius room do lockpick.
