looks like everytime you build something it updates you on your integrity in top left corner. a glass window reduces it by 2. your currently at 6. love this series slip.

Hey Sl1p, just as a hint for you (to solve your food and water problems): on the island you just discovered are some trees, called hanging fruit trees, you can plant in buildable plant pots. They produce edible fruits that give you more food and water you can use... and you can also plant them inside the cyclops for a portable food resource

Sl1p, bulkheads prevent water from flowing to other parts of your base if there's a link in one room only.

The lockers in the cyclops as well as turning off the cyclops lights are only in the experimental builds that you must opt into on steam.

The new update is out now. Came out yesterday. Cyclops got cameras that you can look around with, and a collision warning screen. Also the lockers on the lower deck are now lockers. AND, you can turn the interior and exterior lights on/off.

Slip those pink little Floaters can cling your your cyclops that could be what is waking it out. Also you can build new sections of your Base from the inside as well.

Sl1p, for the thermal reactor to work you would need to go down to the lava pits at about 1300-1500 depth. The hole which to enter it is near the right side of the mushroom forest and if you keep following the lava that has cooled and is black, somewhere around the area is a hole which is the entrance

The Lockers in the bottom level of the Cyclops are storage lockers in a later update. They have less storage space than the Wall Lockers in the December 2016 Build.

hey slip, you can just recharge the laser cutter with a battery like the welder and seaglide, plus the propulsion cannon can grab those uncuttable doors in wrecks and you can move them around so you can enter the other areas in wrecks :)

To save power in the cyclops you can turn the light off by one of the computers on the right side of the bridge

Make bulkheads in finished spots so you can shut them and have dry base spots even when it floods.

At the top left of the scree, as you build more pieces, it tells you what your current hull strength so that you can keep an eye on it. :)

+S1ipg8r if you go back to the floating island there is an abandoned base on it where you can scan plant boxes and stuff and get free food. I think if you put 2 of the same species of fish in the aquarium they breed too. great vids

You are on the April release, lockers in the Cyclops were put in with the May release. But it also updates the map quite a bit so you would more or less have to start over.

You should put a big aquarium in your entrance. if you stack two multi purpose rooms on each other you can connect two tanks. (You put hatches on aquariums to go inside.)

As always, great job. :D Only improvement that I can say is that if I were you, I would update so you can got all the new equipment as well as the new wrecks that look pretty cool. Alas, not much in the random wrecks, but it just adds to the ambience. :D

Sl1p you should use bulkheads instead of reinforcements, since they help retain hull integrity as well without giving up window space

When you're building your base look in the upper left corner, there is an update of your bases Hull Integrity when ever you construct or deconstruct.

for each window you place the hull decreases with 2, so you'll have to make more reinforcements.

Sl1p, you really should move your save over to experimental! Sure, you'd have to start a new save every now and then.. but you'd get ALL the delicious goodies early. You could even do a new season every two months (if needed.. that's only in the case of new biomes or environmental structures) to show off the major changes!

Two things: one, you have an update, and two, solar panels charge during the daytime and will continue to provide power at night, hope this helps

The next time your sub tilts and clangs and stops moving, try undocking the Seamoth. Maybe the Seamoth's model is colliding with the subs model.

slip build in the purple cave itll look really cool and it looked liked their were a couple of flat areas where you could build on and try to connect. btw LOVE YOUR VIDS

slips solution to low battery . . .make a whole new tool . . .you know as apposed to like doing what a normal person would do and create a battery and press r while you have the tool equipped. This is one of my favorite series to watch and yet at the same time the most frustrating because for what ever reason slip just does not understand how to Subnautica.

For the base you can put another of these rooms right in the middle and move the solar pannels and the biogenerator on the top roof, or near the base as well. You should bring the water purification machine with you in your submarine! Nice video :)

hey Sl1pg8r , theres a subnautica updated called "machine update" it added new features and overhauled the cyclops. along with adding new models for the reactors and new rooms for the bases like the scanning room. you will probably have to start a new game. you're missing out on some really cool stuff!

If you put a bulkhead in between each room than one of them floods than its only gonna flood the one that's flooding so the bulkheads are a good source of integrity and are good for stopping flooding . Try it out

if you are holding a electric tool (e.g. welder) that is out of battery and you have a battery in your inventory, you can press r to use the battery and recharge the tool

in the middle of your base outside. if you remove the hatch and try adding a cross corridor w/ the hatch on top. might make it easier for in base travel and exitting w/out trying to remember where the exit is. i'm not sure if the game will allow a cross corridor like that though
