Hey slip 1. the hanging fruit trees from the floating island give water/food. 2. the large crop plots are found on the island as well. 3. you are missing a lot of furniture, plants and pictures you can scan for construction 4. i think your cargo crates are glitched because you should be able to loot them at the wrecks. 5. you can put a large crop plot on your cyclops to put more hanging fruit trees on. Which will solve your food and water problem. 6. there are PDA's that have info on the other survivors from the other crashed ship before you got there, that will lead you to other abandond bases. 7. the cargo lockers on your cyclops should work, if they don't then they are glitched. 8. the thermal knife cooks small fish when you kill them. 9. the generator for the thermal vents may not work because the thermal vents do not generate heat yet. least that was at the last patch and some players it still glitches for

There are 3 things you should consider doing Sl1p: 1 - Go check the island, in its peak there are some ruins with a decent and aestetic food resource; 2 - Scan a office chair inside one of the wrecks; 3 - Seach for the ruins in the jelly mushroom cave.

Hey Sl1pg8tor. Awesome Subnatica video like always. 1. You should build a new Bio reactor inside a multipurpose room because the new ones compost any biological material. 2. The thermoblade also cooks fish right away. There also is a bug with the knifes that if they run out of durability they still work.

It would be awesome if you built an aquarium room for each type of creature you wanted to keep, and made one mixed one as a showpiece of the different eggs and plants that looked nice. Great series Sl1p. Thanks for posting frequently.

sl1p if you go to the floating island and get the hanging fruit trees you can plant them in your base(not the aquarium) and it's a reliable food source

Slip, the charge fins will make the sea glide have infinite battery. It will hit 0% But then it will make dubstep sounds as it goes forever and ever.

Sl1p, the bulkheads close you you construct new things on your base, so buildings, reinforcements and windows all cause the doors to close so if you have a breach the whole base doesn't flood. Also the rabbit rays are breeding, so you are losing space for peepers, make another large aquarium for your hatch animals and you'll have a ton of food and water in no time.

Hey Sl1p if you want a quick way up stair of your base, put hatches on each level of your aquarium. you can squirt in swim up and squirt out fast as ever.

Hey slip, I think I saw in the subnautica update video that the lockers in the Cyclops now count as lockers. You can just open them and the locker menu comes up. 😀

Great video sl1p, you got a lot done this episode. Super fun stuff and things. And you with the thermal knife( light saber) and death shark spasams crack up. Just a little tip since you wanted the Nuclear Reactor, In the Blood Vine Biome which is in down past a cliff NorthEast from the Lifepod and The Nuclear Reactor Fragments are pretty common there.

Hey Sl1p! The water filtration machine requires 5 solar panels just to power it. At my base I use 6 solar panels just for the water and I use 2 bio-reactors to power the rest of my base. Also if you make a large aquarium just for creature eggs, use the creatures that made babies to power the reactor. And if you want a cheaty way to power your seaglide in shallow areas (up to about 150 m deep) use the modification station to make swim charge fins. Your seaglide will power on and off and make some noise but it's better than crafting all those batteries.

Sl1p you can get the new bioreactor that they added recently. It requires another room, but it is much cooler than the one you have

I suggest you start a creepvine farm outside using an exterior grow bed and have it placed near a bioreactor along with a storage unit with fungal samples inside. Less of a hassle that way.

Hey Sl1p! You can use the salt the water filtration machine makes to make more water! It actually makes the power consumption completely worth it

There is indeed a sea glide upgrade called the PowerGlide, but it's only in experimental mode right now, and even then only spawnable via keyboard commands.

Sl1p the door closes because you uses glass corridors instead of normal one. Both corridors have different strength and it affect the moonpool for it's to leak because it don't have support under it. If your don't get it, just use your imaginations :*

its because you move a certain distance away and they are bulkheads suppose to stop water from getting into another section so they are almost always closed when not in use at that time

You can put windows in the ceiling as well btw so you can see between rooms and outside.. it looks really cool. Not sure if it's still a thing though. I think the ceiling looks different now.

You can get seeds to plant in the tank by slicing(with a knife) the acid mushroom and some other stuff. not sure if you can use the upgraded knife or not btw.

you have too go on the differnt Islands where you can find ruins and scan cropplots and observasation station in the crop plots you can plant hanging fruit plants or melons

I believe you should be able to slash the "wild" acid mushrooms to get spores, which might create self-replenishing clusters if you plant them in an aquarium. Hope this helps :3

slip the reason the bulkheads close is because thats their default state and ever time u update ur base by adding or removing a piece they return to that state

i found it much better for storage to use a different room type completely. the t shaped connectors. connect a bunch of those together to make a waffle shape. and you can wrap 8 lockers around the initial "pillar". and then 6 lockers for each extra pillar. this way the lockers don't take up too much space. you can still walk in them.

If you want to keep fish for food, I highly recommend stocking lots of Reginalds - each one is worth a bunch of food points

In the update there is cameras on the cyclops u access it from the computer in it there are 4 camera attached to it and u can now store items in the lockers on the cyclops

You should make many different aquariums with a specific fish in all tanks so it would be easyer to seperate them and know how much you have making it a good food sourse

the plasteel tank effects your swim speed. Actually all tanks do. but the plasteel is lighter and makes you swim faster and the bigger tank slows you down.

WOW over 100k views, GREAT job Slip. I also got rid of the bio energy station, Just not worth the time. Good idea stacking for the crafting station. Think I will do the same thing. I like the water output though, I am getting lots. Might need to make a trip to the island for fruit trees, then plant in the bace for endless food.

get rid of the peepers and find some reginalds they fill your food more also you might want to move your solar panels on the roof of your base so they are more efficient

you can still use more then one air tank. its just that you can now have one default one in your charecter screen.

the watermachine stops make stuff when its full the slots and the panels get more Sun when the are closer to the surface

Every time you build an object, the bulkheads will reset, But watch out for the nuclear reactor because it needs uranium which you will need :Mk2 seamoth pressure, and in the weird underground blue sphere place you'll find green cyrstals in which you need 3 for a uranium ore, titanium, lead to in turn make a reactor rod (x4). Gives you 500 power

If you cut a acid mushroom you get 4 seeds so from 1 mushrooms and you can grow 4 seeds in the tank or underwater grow bed
