Love the opening commentary sequence, couldn't have been so easy to do as your 'beginner' videos!

dude great video! I couldn't help but notice that your anchor slings are against bare metal. I would suggest using some form of protection against friction damage. We use sections of fire hoses around the slings on the corners and other points of contact, other possibilities are potato sacks or squares of carpeting, etc... Keep up the good work! Happy slacking!

Hey Sam, I always enjoy your videos and poducts. Mind if you can do a video about pretensioning the backupline? I mean you don´t always go full slack with your backup isn´t it

This seems so awesome! ive been mastering just doing my 30' 2" slackline haha. I went down and back 6 times though today so I'm gonna keep making it longer and higher ;D
@SlacktivityCh6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, go longer! As soon as you master a longer line it actually becomes much easier. Also go less and less tight. What seems difficult at the beginning is actually easy with some training. And also take something more narrow! 5cm is too wide for your foot and all in all much more difficult than 2.5cm.

And go more narrow as soon as you have the chance for it. You won't regret it! If you wanna go direction highlining, then take a nylon line...

I once got caught in the leash with my ankle and was just hanging under the line from my foot. It was uncomfortable, but it didn't feel dangerous at all. I wonder what would happen if you got the leash around your neck during some 'close to the line' freestyle tricks - that could probably be very dangerous for the the esophagus and the blod flow if you don't get untangled as fast as possible. Hopefully the dynamics of the line will soften the impact in such a situation.

great video! can you do a tutorial on how to catch the line to avoid leash falls?
@trumanswartzfager63043 жыл бұрын
There's no point to try to catch the line to AVOID a leash fall.
