Tuesday Garland and Sachse got hit with winds that broke so many trees in half, it looks crazy with just broken trees everywhere. I don't know how it was just high winds that did that. Sending love your way!

I feel like such a a failure this year with my gardens. This crazy weather has messed my planting times up. I should be picking green beans, squash & cucumbers and should have already planted my butter beans, purple hull and zipper cream peas. I share all my produce with my family, neighbors and friends and also send fresh eggs and veggies to the church for all the widows. The wind and hail everytime it rains is unusual. We got it bad on Tuesday and I think we have more coming tonight. Power was off until this afternoon and I have never seen so many trees just demolished. We had two down on a power line. I was a nervous wreck until they got that cleared. The pears are heartbreaking but that pot of green beans almost makes up for it. What a meal. All we can do is all we can do. We pull ourselves up by our bootstraps and get back to it and we thank the good Lord even in these trials. I need to make the drive on a sale day and get me some of those beautiful tomatoes and say hello. It would be worth the trip. God bless you, dear.

I was there earlier as well. Hot HOT and working in my garden. Then It got darker and 15 to 20 degrees cooler, blackened and BOOM!. Sick of it, and the grey skies that have no real clouds since the eclipse. And not seeing the weaves in the sky, we have a grey haze instead most of the time. I know I've only been a Texan for 16 years, but this year the weather is different. They are doing things they are finding those nano particles in the rain. smh

You're a busy lady. I did 11 jars of pickled celery!! I wanted to can celery so soup and egg salad, so I pickled. I used half water hard vinegar, tsp salt, and half tsp sugar. Waterbathed 1 hour. All sealed, kept green color. Wish me luck. Sending picture. They need to quit messing with the weather with the weather machines. They did this in Saudi Arabia 3 years ago and caused so much havoc and damage. Wish I'd kept the articke!!! God bless. Much love.

Hi Jill, I'm not new to your channel but new to the comment section. My goodness what a horrible storm. I am in Wichita Falls and we are water logged here too but nothing like what y'all are getting. Good grief. I will be anxious to see how everything faired after that storm. We are supposed to get more here afterwhile and then I guess it will head y'all's way after that. My okra is doing horrible because of the weather. The only thing that is really thriving is my tomatoes everything thing else is either waterlogged or getting eaten alive by bugs. I'm a native Texan so I'm used to our crazy weather but this Spring sure has been extra crazy. Take care and God bless. Hope everything survived that.

These spring storms....and almost everday this week. I had wind and rain much like yours today. The weather app on my phone showed gust of 14 mph, and that was no 14 mph. I was guessing 60 or so. If my corn survives this week it will be a miracle. The wind was really whipping them today. Lost my chard in Tuesday's storm. The wind broke them to pieces, broke the green bean plants out of the greenstalk, and broke a couple of pepper plants. Have not gone out to survey today's aftermath. I did not even get a warning today. I still have onions to harvest and at this rate they will be rotted. I am planning my fall garden, as I expect the next 2 months will be hot. Prayers for all!

In north Florida we got heavy winds that beat up my garden. Had two huge branches fall and crush my chain link fence and fell on my garden and planter.Thank God my neighbors son pulled the trees off ( one fell into my neighbors yard) the fence. I paid him to repair my fence.i went to lowes and got the poles .That sure save me a insurance claim.Thank you Lord!! Prayers

Our warning came 30 minutes after the storm started, and we have had an awesome lightening show. We're down between Dallas/FW and Houston in a little town called Midway. I love the rain but would prefer to not have the hail. Our storm warning is until 9:00, but the storm is just about over. According to our weather station on the pasture fence, we got 64 mph winds during the last storm that almost tore my coop apart. My prayers are with you girl! We'll get through it with God's help.

I'm kind of starting to believe in weather manipulation, because texas has been having multiple bad storms come out of nowhere in the same spot. And those storms always then track and pass over to Louisiana. Good thing hurricanes can't be manipulated, that'll be terrible. Wait rising sea temperatures exist, and we're taking part in it so i guess we can.

If you has a good rain/water tank would be good for watering plants in the summer. We have a 1.250 gallon tank connected to the house gutters fot the garden and another to store water for the house use. We just haven't gotten that much rain compared to y'all.

We are in the south end of Hill Country and we are getting no rain at all. But that doesn't mean we are not getting the high humidity and extreme winds and accelerated heat. Thanks government with their chemtrails which are so covered theses days, the haze is very low now, you would think we were in Los Angeles with smog - and we don't live near a big city so this is crazy. The garden is taking a beating. Wish we could take some of that rain from you.

The weather this year has been totally crazy, along with the strong winds and high humidity. We drove down I-20 to East Texas, this past weekend and seen a lot of big trees blown over on the ground, along with some of the road signs.

I just canned 10 quarts of green beans with new potatoes! I used chicken broth in place of water this time. (I have an over abundance of broth canned).❤ One jar didnt seal so it was dinner last night with ripe tomatoes and homegrown beef tips over biscuits! That's livin' !!!

70 mph winds in The Tall Pine trees of Nacogdoches

Many folks in Kaufman county still without power from storm that hit last Tuesday morning. Roads blocked from downed trees and city of Kaufman basically shut down for 2 days Walmart even closed. All stores lost their frozen and refrigerated food.

The unripe pears can still be used. Poach unripe fruit to soften and intensify flavors, then they can be canned or made into preserves, etc. I started apple cider vinegar with the few unripe apples that fell in the last storm.

Wednesday we had really bad winds like that and I was in the medical center. Houston and I was in a building and Man. It was horrible. The power went out in the building. We couldn’t even get on the elevator. We had to walk the stairs thank God I was on the third floor.
