It's important to also notice that Blitz, while having one fewer upgrade than the rest of the party, can be further upgraded by giving him back his drone, which is absolutely MANDATORY if you are gonna bring him along.

I always have Eiger as a sniper. She fucking cleans house in tough battles. Also note if you do her companion mission you can get her one of the best assault rifles in the game and it's better than having her use a shotgun. Fun fact: Glory can use a minigun in the game making her a terrifying companion in the game

I am usually pretty anal about playing games, especially RPGs. I will look up optimal stats to build so I can explore all content (lockpicking, charisma, intimidate, etc.) Then I look up what companions to get and their builds, in order to compliment mine. That way I can play through once and see everything, with an occasional reload for multiple endings. This game was no exception. Thanks for your rundown, it was fun to revisit my memory of playing it.

Speed load also great when switching weapons since it reloads all of her equipped weapons, not just the active one.

Feel like that's the biggest trap of Shadowrun, if you're playing certain races it locks you out of being the best you can be because a lot of the skills and equipment you can get are tied to your attribute scores. That gets compounded by needing really high level stats to past checks later on. It feels like the game is punishing you for not playing optimally and there clearly is a "right" choice for every class. Like Blitz, if your am human or elf decker, he really is the worst character in the game and there isn't a reason to take him as you'll be far better than he'll ever be. I don't think he even gets the best deck in the game. It would have been better if he could have rigging as his bottom tree but oh well.

Weirdly, I have absolutely no memory of Blitz. I remember every other party member, but I don't think I've had Blitz on even one mission. Just a complete Blitz-shaped void in my memory.

I would argue Earth Elemental is much better over Fire Elemental. If you use elementals you want them to be a fodder and draw aggro, and earth can take beating and have some useful skills. Also, that gun for Glory is not a bad investment. You can't always charge in and sometimes it is even better to stay back and shot bad guys.

Hope you played the other shadowruns first. They're good but dragonfall has so many QOL improvements that its hard to go back
