Well done Chris. One band that I grabbed from the start of RSD was The Doors. I have everything that was released and there has been plenty as you know. Some of these have been released via bootlegs over the years. Some have not. This show has been released on Japanese and American CD as well as vinyl boots. But not the whole show. RSD has some great connections with Electra, Doors management and the remaining Doors members. Have you collected the other RSD Doors releases? Starting from the Riders On The Storm singles on? Nice I don't think that is the whole Live concert it is a Record Store Day Release but how many releases are we going to see from this show ? They finally released the whole Live Matrix show on three CD's .

Hi Rich. I'm not entirely sure if it's the whole show or not. The impression I get from the liner notes is that it is, but who knows? Either way, it turns out that the album sounds very good after a bit of sound adjustment after track 1. Thanks a lot. Cheers!

The Matrix is a good Live CD last year there was a live Cheap Trick 4CD box set of the whole live shows from the 1977 Whisky Go Go that had Record Store Day releases before I am on the fence about getting The Doors Bakersfield will see in the future good job on the video .

looks like a great pick up chris, hopefully it sounds great too, as ive said before where i live in the middle of the fens in the uk there are no record shops big or small within an hours drive other than charity shops and antique stores so never done record store day , picked a few up on line after the fact but not for a while, cheers chris enjoy

Hi Stephen. RSD really isn't all it's cracked up to be. Most of the time, stores don't get enough copies (if any at all), and the prices have gotten crazy. You're probably better off. Thanks a lot. Take care. Cheers!

The Doors album was on a great many lists. As you probably know I don’t do RSD. I’m too old, too cranky in the morning and am on a pension. :) I’m glad t you got something. I would have gotten that album too.

Hi Tony. Turns out, it's pretty darn good. The levels are better after the first 2 tracks and the mix evens out a bit. I don't think there are many big crowds for RSD anymore... at least not here in Calgary. I agree that the prices have gotten out of hand. Have a good one. Cheers!

That Bo Diddley box set only had 900 released. My local shop tried to get it but was unable to At least you got one album Nephew so you can say “ I did RSD”

Onya Chris. Thanks for sharing. I think Record Store Day may be a bit overrated especially here in Oz. Anyway, go out and find “You’ll Never Get Out Of Here Alive” by John Lee Hooker. Now that’s the blues at his best!!! Absolute classic JLH! Enjoy

This is apparently the biggest selling Doors in history. Personally, the audio sounds like crap, which is what most live albums sounded like in 1970. If there is any audio that needed A. I. audio enhancement, this one truly qualifies.

I find that live albums can go one of two ways; fairly decent sound or crap sound. This one falls in the latter. Thanks for tuning in. Cheers!

@@BluesGuyVinyl I agree. I can think of a few live albums from that era that had great sound and performances. Obviously, any live album from the past twenty years is usually done with good production values. This Doors album is a turkey. I had to turn it off after three songs. The vocals were just too distorted and sonically poor for me to tolerate. There was barely any bass to be heard. I own a excellent sound system so it also can bring out the flaws in a poor recording. To me, this Doors release is just another cash grab move on the part of the record company. It probably sounds lousy even on a crappy Crosby record player. 😊
