SLIFER, THE SKY DRAGON!
The Egyptian Gods in Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel are so much fun. Slifer The Sky Dragon gets some love today, as I try to shutdown my opponents from being able to summon anything. This deck obviously isn't perfect, but it's a good time. Nothing like taking an Egyptian God Slifer deck into a sweaty realm of online ranked duels. Hope you enjoy! I used to believe that they were just trying it to make the best animations in the entire game and were working on them but after seeing that they still don't have an animation even after the update which introduced a lot more animations I'm losing hope.

Not every deck can be a good deck and Egyptian gods are all old as hell new cards = new power creep I didnt mind the addition of syncros as they were pretty cool but everything after that for new players is like 😢😢

That combo at the end was awesome, really like seeing the Egyptian Gods being able to go toe to toe with some of the crazy modern decks. Soul Crossing and Thunder Force Attack are great for clearing your opponent’s board.

Fun fact: Some recent support came out for the Poker Knights (Kings Knight + Queens Knight + Jack's Knight) that also included a card called "Thunderspeed Summon" which makes it so the Poker Knights can act as a deck engine for Slifer.

@@rexlapis7587 Teamsamurai made a deck profile for it. With some slight tweaks, it can be pretty good. My knight ratio is 3 Queens, 3 Kings, 2 Jacks. I tried 2:2:2, but my Knights tended to end up in the grave too quickly. Also, instead of 3 pot of prosperity, I run 2 pot of avarice. Also, consider running Idaten The Conqueror Star in the extra deck.

@@rexlapis7587 Also, Poker Knights can make Ra and Slifer work, but in a competitive setting and especially Master Duel, you'd rarely want to summon the gods. I've won way more games with Utopia and link monsters tbh.

@@tinktink360 dragon link. Took me a long time to kinda get the hang of the deck since it's new to me and ppl said that the deck is pretty good but they also said it's not a ez deck to use. I had a great platinum match today where I misplayed the first turn but one turned killed my opponent in my next turn.

that last duel was really clean! I never played duel links but i did play on dueling nexus. I started playing galaxy eyes four years ago and when master duel came out and i made my exact galaxy eyes deck i was shocked at how well it played. i know this vid is about slifer but mad respect for the galaxy eyes guy he was a real one!

Pretty sure when he summoned galaxy eyes cipher dragon he could’ve activated it’s effect and take control of slifer which then becomes galaxy eyes cipher dragon and then overlay it for a galaxy eyes cipher xyz monster

I've just stumbled upon this video, it's first one of your channel that I watched, and I got say really nice content, I watched the anime and played with the og yugioh cards so I don't have a lot of knowledge of the new and evolved yugioh strategy combos etc... I love Divine Beast Archetype too, my first deck was a Yugi based deck with Exodia, Egipcian Gods and Dark Magician and I really had a blast with that deck. I'm building my dream deck which is a Egipcian God Deck more based on Slifer cuz he is my fav from the 3. It's nice to know I'm not the only one using them.

Props to the GE player for putting up a heckin SHOW. GE is actually my favourite (and main) archetype, but I'm almost done building my Slifer deck as well. Yeah I'll probably never reach platinum 1 but "haha funny dragons go brr" is my kind of thing and I'm not letting go of that

I just started playing yu gi oh master duel because of you, you make it look so fun. I have no idea what I am doing and to be honest I like just looking at the art on the cards. Keep up the good work your videos are extremely entertaining.
