At 13.04.45 today, Louis returns to the nest with some moss but doesn't settle, keeps looking around. He calls out at 13.04.54 (0:56) mantles and opens those big powerful wings to their fullest extent, and moves protectively around the nest. At 13.05.03 Louis swings round violently as the intruder is circling the nest very close by judging from his strong reaction (1:28), there's a fleeting glimpse top right at 13.05.04. Then the intruder osprey can be seen fully (1:49) top right at 13.05.08. Louis mantles, you see its shadow mid left (2:04) and Louis takes off after it (2:21), you see his shadow where the intruder's was.
