Why do people think Pat Summerall is good? I think he’s one of the worst announcers ever. He has no excitement, he’s basically like bad Joe Buck but worse. I’ve literally never heard him get excited at all. In one of the Super Bowls he called, with a game winning kick, he literally ruined it with his call. No idea why people like him.

It was a DIvisional Round game, these 2 were arguably the 2 best teams in the NFC that season! IIRC, the Packers were the #2 seed at 13-3 while the 49ers, ( who the Pack beat the next week in the NFC Championship) were #1 @ 14-2. However, San Francisco played a much easier schedule and were beaten , ( both physically and on the scoreboard) by the Bucs to open that 1997 season! Favre threw a couple of picks that day, but that Bucs Defense was in the early stages of being one of, if not the best Defense of all time! Right up there with the 85 Bears, 2000 Ravens, or the Steel Curtain of the 70s!

@@stephanrosa5182 Allow me to correct myself. I don't think going after concussions is an issue. It's the approach of the league as it pertains to concussions that's the issue. Which is why we have blatant ref ball and why the morality of these teams has declined on the field these past few years.

God from way up in heaven saw the Tampa Bay Buccaneers wear their pewter helmets, white uniforms and pewter pants meet the defending Super Bowl XXXI champion Green Bay Packers in the NFC Divisional Round playoffs on January 3, 1998 and it was not just freezing cold in Green Bay, Wisconsin, god had to watch the game.

Will Rodgers get his 2nd ring while the packers win their 5th Lombardi? Will Brady get his 7th while earning Tampa Bay their 2nd? Will the Chiefs and Mahomes start a dynasty? Will Buffalo finally end the years of drought and finally win a Super Bowl? Find out next time on dragon ball Z.
