Wait wait wait! Clockwork Definently did time travel because he wasn't always a robot. As he got older he turned himself into one so he wouldn't ever get old. And if he's in the Prehistoric Cave level that means he time traveled back to that time as a robot. There's no way that at the beginning of time Clockwork would be old enough to already have his robotic parts. If anything he would have all his feathers and whatsoever. This might not make sense but think about it.

I have an interesting theory about Clockwerk's metallic form: What if Penelope created a third time machine and went into the past, meeting Clockwerk before his mechanization? She did manage to create Le Paradox's time machine, so it would be possible.

My theory is that clockwerk had time traveling capabilities and watched himself get beaten by sly cooper, so he went far back in time, and watched all coopers, waiting until the time period where slys parents were alive, then, he struck, but of course, he still was defeated

Seeing Clockwork in these locations make me believe they're working on another Sly Cooper game that may loop around how Clockworks still alive from the Thievious Raccoonus and how he's able to go back to spy on us in Thieves through time

Everyone is putting so many comments of how "Clockwerk in Clan of the cave Raccon should've been fleshly or non-robotic" or something to that extent,when they likely aren't thinking about the time traveling shenangins messing up the timeline,after all if Sly (furthest theoretical cooper in the line) can meet the very first,then how would it be impossible for whatever things Le Paradox and Sly both are doing to mess with the progression of how quickly Clockwerk became Immortal? Or rather bring the Immortal Clockwerk here,until that of which everything is fixed anyway (Which could be a reason why every clockwerk looked the exact same and is doing the same thing)

Secret ending sly is stranded in egypt....we might see his last coopers, the one we didn't saw in the 4th. I hope so...I really do Sly Cooper 5 here we come!

it's like he knows you're watching him, he makes these weird motions almost like he's dancing for the camera. I also think he winked at me but I can't get him to recreate it so I'm not sure My theory about him being in the prehistoric with robot armor is when Le Paradox or one of his minions went back in time, they turned him in to Mecha-Owl. I'm not sure there are prehistoric owls but bear with me now. My guess on why is that he was involved in an egg stealing accident with Bob, severely injuring him, and someone from Le Paradox (probably Penelope, the little shit) made him in to a mechanized creature. Are there prehistoric owls? Maybe the reason he looks different in Sly 1 is that he IS a prehistoric owl and the only reason he looks more like an owl in the second game is the Arpidgeo didn't recreate him well, and the only reason he is in Sly 4 is that he also traveled back in time, somehow after the events of Sly 2. But I don't know, that's just my theory.

Just like in the Thievius Raccoonus, people doesn't know that from the first in the final level intro they show the picture of all the coopers with clockwerk in the backround. So since Sly, and the gang went back in time in the moment if you play as one of the old school cooper or sly and the gang at the right time like in the book.....Clockwerk is there. It's what makes Sly Cooper Thieves in Time so fuckin awesome! However we havent seen the last few coopers the egypt one, and some other few.

I've played all 4 of them and the 2nd one was the best . But about clockwork . I'm assuming he was born around that imperial Japan so he could've been there . And what I remember from the 1st game was that he was alway stalking the coopers. Well the question arises is how come he didn't kill them? Why wait that long?? This my theory (bear with me) in 4th game he created a time machine before killing slys dad to see the future how he died and seeing his mistakes . So he went to the past because he saw the sly and his gang went back in time and perhaps studied him more? And perhaps in the 5th game (if there is one) he kills all the coppers who returned and fights sly and says why he hated them
