Whats a rerecored? Just canceling your current recording and starting a new one? It doesn't seem to be a good idea to do it

Afaik sm64expert likes to make separate files for different strats, so that's probably not the total rr count

he wallkick a frame before coin 2, then he wallkicks again (with a glitchy wallkick) , then wallkicks on the same frame as collecting coin 3, which counts as wallkicking after it. another gwk happens after coin 6. (heck, i had to edit that comment 4 times)

There should be sequels to old challenges. There'd be a huge wealth of information from the videos to work off of, and it would be interesting to see how much further the extra time and centralized info can bring it.

I was wondering... If you enter RR and collect the red coins, but you can only move left and right, the only way to turn is by a walljump, and if you exit the area, you have to return as fast as you can.

He sideflips from the top surface of the bottom spinner, wallkicks (gaining more vertical speed), and lands on the floor by touching the bottom of the hitbox

On the random clock setting (which you get by entering when the hand is at 6, as Oligi said), the clock's moving platforms & stuff all move randomly. This was disallowed as it would make the task heavily RNG dependent, which isn't really in the spirit of the competition.

Unless I'm not seeing it, a lot of these don't wallkick before *each* coin like the task says. For instance silentslayers gets coins 3 and 4 with one wallkick

It's fast as hell but starting from 4:19 - wallkick, 2nd red coin, glitchy wallkick up to platform, then collects the 3rd red like a frame before the wallkick that sends him to the 4th red coin
