Dinner in Valletta, the capital of Malta, on the night of our visit to Mdina.
We strolled around the city for a bit to look for a restaurant for dinner.
The atmosphere was relaxed and the city was almost without a sense of danger.
Dinner was at a place run by a Sicilian family.

All dishes were delicious. We were even offered a liqueur at the end of the meal.
To my surprise, one of the waitresses had a younger brother who was going to live in Modena for work the next day.
What a coincidence!
The next day, it was already my day to return to Italy, but I wanted to see Valletta in the daytime, so I took a bus from Sliema to Valletta. I took my suitcase and walked around the city.
It is such a small capital that you can get around on foot very quickly.
I had a pastizzi, a Maltese snack recommended by a Maltese resident.
There was no price written on it, so I asked a Maltese person in line and she told me it was about 60 cents, and I was surprised to find it was really 60 cents. The ricotta cheese in the crispy dough was very tasty.

After taking a break at a cafe, I took a bus to the airport.
The bus left very late because the driver did not show up. The bus was supposed to go to the terminal, but we were all dropped off outside the airport and had to walk on the street, but we managed to get there.
I was not worried even the bus was late as I had plenty of time until my flight.
It seems that bus delays occur often in Malta.
The plane flew north along the Tyrrhenian coast, finally passing over Modena and arriving at Bologna Airport.
This time, I could not take the ferry due to bad weather, so next time I would like to take the ferry to visit nearby islands.

夜のバレッタから始まりロマンチックでした。噴水がのお皿の上にお月様が乗っかってる？凄い✨✨✨お昼も建物が斬新で素晴らしい。そして大好きな路地裏通り🇮🇹リコッタチーズ入りのスナックは最高に美味しかったでしょうね。

早速見ていただいたんですね！ありがとうございます✨ 昼も夜もどちらも気に入りました。スナックはちょっと脂っこいけど、そこがまた美味しいんです！たくさんは食べれませんが・・・。

こんにちは。日本は連日の猛暑で🥵です。イタリアは如何ですか？マルタってイタリアの近くだからイタリアなイメージでしたが歴史的に色んな所の支配を経て独特な雰囲気みたいですね。こういう所もいつか行ってみたいです。

ミリエルさん、こんにちは！日本は暑そうですね🥵湿度が高いからさらに暑く感じますよね。熱中症にお気をつけください。モデナは、二週間ぐらい前に約40度まで上がる日が続いた時がありましたが、その後は普通の夏程度、35度以下で収まっています。マルタのこと、騎士団の話もそうですが、二つの大戦中時の話も全く知りませんでした。最近ではオンラインゲームやカジノのデベロッパーの仕事についている人が多くいらっしゃるそうです。今回行って良かったなと思っています。小さいけど、地理的に重要な場所ですね。
