Hixxy is a fu**ing stud and has flown so far under many radars. His squats and log are amazing. His performance at Big Dogs powerlifting was amazing.

Love the fraternal atmosphere when Shaw is working w fellow strongmen. Such professionalism in the sport and sense of community. I'm not massive like these guys and don't have proportionally large hands, but I've developed my grip strength a lot incorporating strongman style training in my routine. Great post! Hats off to these gents.

He’s definitely still a serious contender for titles like Britain’s Strongest Man or the OSG Master’s. He’s just been dealing with some personal issues lately and needs to get back into the swing of things.

@@chrislew8423I believe it was some mental health problems that he didn’t go too in detail about. He also got sick midway through his prep for Britain’s strongest man so that caused some problems for him as well.

Brian has been my inspiration since I started training last year. I've been training twice a day, every day this year, Monday to Friday then once every Saturday and Sunday. I don't think I would've been this interested if it wasn't for watching him train, especially with Eddie, and Robert.
