Gambler Royal Gunbelt - Making a custom suede lined buscadero rig.

3 жыл бұрынI finally had a little time (thanks to bad weather) to finish up the EMF Gambler Royal gunbelt. I made the holster in a previous video, in this one, I make the matching "Buscadero" style belt. A whole lot of thread and a lively red suede lining make the Gambler Royal rig flashy enough for a lucky card sharp.

Im really loving your leather project videos. They are really entertaining and wholesome to watch. I like that you let us know what youre doing so that we can follow along better. The belt and the holster looks really good, it pairs very well with the revolver. Youre an artist.

They're kind of a pain to film but I really enjoy doing them, and when I'm done I have something besides some empty shell casings. I have several more planned but they're tough to do when you only get the weekends to do them. Thanks for watching!

pure talent richard ive been busy too with stimulus i dropped 500 bucks worth of upgrades in to my ar15 and bought a navy mk vii helmet and just got the taurus g3 as well as the spring and striker sleeve for it and the charging handle for my ar15 is the bcm gunfighter just got it

Hey Richard is that vegetable tanned leather. Nice work you should take your work to a New York gun show in the suburbs of the city Long Island,, Westchester county. People would be all over them. Richards custom made Holsters.. I really think people would go crazy for that. There's a lot of money here. Nice stuff.

Hey man! Awesome work! I’m about to start my first rig and I like the idea of lining it with suede but how or did you do any edge work once the suede was attached?

I just trimmed the suede as close as possible and slicked the edges like normal. It won't slick the suede down but it looks ok to me. The only other thing you could do, would be to use edge coat. I've never used it personally but I imagine it would look okay. I like using suede on the belt lining, it really helps keep the belt in place and you can use it to hide the bullet loop stitching. I recently did just a holster with a fringed suede top and a seed bead border. I plan on doing a couple more rigs in the near future, one might just be a little "Extreme Hollywood" rig! Lol.

I couldn't really say, I've seen a wild range of prices on holsters. I don't make them to sell, it's just a hobby for me and I like teaching the process. I'd like to make and sell them for a living, that would be a blast! Thanks for watching!
