I'm not a very emotional guy when it comes to anything, but I was holding back tears at the end of this part. I love this show so much, but Clark & Lana, my favorite couple, frustrate me so much.

I mean Clark trusted Lex, and even all after that, he vouched for him when his parents, and Pete kept telling him not to. When he investigated him the first time, Lex at least told him. But then he did it again, and the only reason Clark found out was because Lionel Luthor gave him a key to that door that unlocks that one door. That's why Clark never told Lex about his secret, and he was right to not tell him his secret. Lex would have tried to have Clark do his dirty work. But he eventually told Lana because he was in love with her, and because he trusted her.

Actually Clark looked a little bit disappointed because he was supposed to get there first to say goodbye to Lana but instead Lex showed up first that's why Clark drop the rose because he wanted to give the rose to Lana but he felt a little bit unhappy because he thinks Lana had feelings for Lex too and when they start hugging each other, Clark decided to drop and leave the rose on the ground because it was gonna be for her but after what he saw he had a feeling he was going be sad and he did. And right before Lana was about to leave for the plane she barely saw Clark and she wanted to say something and say goodbye to him too but in that case he decided to ran off because he thinks that he doesn't have anything else to say to her and the rose that she found on the ground and that Clark had was gonna be for her. And you know, something like this happen to me too because I did had a girl as a friend but not exactly girlfriend because I was going to give her a rose too but when I went to her she already found someone different that can treat her better than me and when I saw that I drop the rose too and I decided to ran off too because I didn't have anything else to say to her and that made me feel heartbroken and disappointed meaning that I lost the love of my life and now I don't have any love with me anymore.

lana was my favorite of clarks love interests in smallville. lois and clark was a little forced

Lana didn’t wanna leave yet which then decided the next day goes back to the Kent farm after forsaken and because Pete under burden too much for him to handle friendship to keep a secret and again is not gonna tell would put her in same position, and asks wants to know what he wanna tell her, just doesn’t give up that easily but interrupted subject yet again.. ugh.. writers suck sometimes🤦🏻is killing the view, and later when he saw with lex after the special room confronting about his investigating only wasn’t about on Clark when it’s about with lex in his honesty but Clark actually the one not being honest enough with him but by ending friendship only for now..

Honestly, Smallville would be better if Lana's character arc ended there. No Isobel, no Jason, no returning to Smallville. I mean, season 5 had Jonathan's death, Aquaman, Cyborg, Lex turning villain and Lois Lane. If Clark wasn't dating Lana, he would be moving to Metropolis and becoming Superman 5 years sooner.

If only Lana had left the show for good after this episode. She was Smallville's worst character. Instead she hung around for 5 more seasons like a bad smell. If she'd left they could have set up Clark's friendship and eventual relationship with Lois a lot sooner than they did. The only reason the Lana character was kept around as long as she was is because of those idiot producers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar who both had an obsessive crush on Lana's actress Kristen Kreuk and tried to keep her around for as long as possible because of it. A couple of grown men acting like horny teen boys over one of their actresses is pathetic.

i don't get why clark even liked lana in the first place, except for her being hot, she always doubted him time and time again, jumped the gun before she knew what happened. it drove me insane. everytime she appeared dead in smallville i was like, GOOD! and then she would come back again and again and then go missing and then come back and then leave and come back and im like would you just go the f*ck away!
