There are many reasons why your Android phone can show device not certified on Google play store. From Google playstore or Google play services app cache or not updating well (which happens in the background) or your phone OEM not doing a proper documentation with Google even some ota updates can cause the device status to change to not certified.

I have a pixel 4a and this worked 100%. I at first realized that I did not hide root from the play store. After I did, bingo, netflix appeared. Your a genius. Subscribed.

@@SmartDepot I would have thought so too, but I tried newer methods and none of them worked. I did do this with the newest version of MagisksHide Props Config, so, maybe they just updated the app? I did this one a OnePlus 8 running Lineage OS 18.1 (android 11) with NikGapps (Core) installed. The strange thing is that I have a OnePlus 6 with the same version of lineage os and gapps and that one was certified without doing anything to it other than enabling magiskhide in the settings.

The developer has to do a lot of cleaning in the kernel level to make it certified with proper boot image fingerprint and more.

thank you for taking the time to reply to me,, as you know i am now technical and learn as I go along any way simple just deleted Samsung internet completely from my mobile phone with the rubbish adverts for banks, I use google any way not Samsung browser no good any way so kind of you to take time to come back to me will give you thumbs up, enjoy rest of your day :)

It could be a software thing most time rarely a hardware issue. It can even come from network providers or using loudspeaker for answering calls. You can start by trying another network provider to see if it helps, also Try downloading another phone app like Google dialer and set it as default phone app. See if it still happens. If it does, you may need to do a factory reset. If factory reset won't solve it then you'll need to do a software upgrade.

If you are checking cts profile with Magisk it will fail due to an API issue with the app. You can download cts profile checker from playstore and try

What happened? Did you update the DSTV APP? or your OS updated? Anyways, download SafetyNet check app and run to see if the cts profile passed. If it didn't, this method can work on Android TV box that can be rooted and custom Recovery like TWRP installed. Hi I'm on a Poco X3 NFC with MIUI 12 (Android 10) rooted with Magisk. I tried the new method on the other video and it didn't work, then I tried this method choosing Poco X3 EU (then tried also Global), but it didn't work. I still get error on cts Profile in Magisk and Device not certified in Play Store. Should I reset the fingerprint in props or just apply the one I choose? Thanks

If you it is possible to get a custom Recovery for the TV box and flash it yes. But I don't know any developer who develops custom Recovery for TV boxes. DStv really messed me up yesterday watching Manchester City Vs Arsenal match using DSTV now

If you uninstall magisk manager apk no problem ut if you uninstall magisk zip, flash a new kernel or restore stock boot image it will revert to device is not certified

@@SmartDepot I bought the unit from Takealot. It comes pre installed with DSTV now and all the other standard apps. So I would not know if it properly rooted (I def am not tech savy) I was able to download the other 2 apps needed. The only other Magisk app is Magisk check the root and Magisk manager tutorial. I cant even get Magisk hide prop config on my Note 10. Thank you again for the assistance

BusyBox enables the magisk hide props to work properly and make system wide changes. It won't work without BusyBox. And you have to be rooted to use both

Use Magisk hide to hide play store and Google play services, clear the app data if both and restart. If you still didn't see Netflix, Hide Magisk app itself and see if it works

You can try that to see if it works if it doesn't, feel free to choose another Samsung device launched not too long from when your device was launched and similar hardwares

First, you have root your phone - Custom Recovery, flash magisk zip before installing. If that can be done on your device then install the two magisk module mentioned in the video and download any terminal app from playstore

Magisk is available on: github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases/tag/v23.0 You have to download the magisk v23 apk, then remain the .apk to .zip and flash through custom Recovery like twrp

Well, Chinese models of Xiaomi devices are not shipped with Playstore they do install playstore in it but it won't be certified by Google and the widevine certification is L3. You just have to root it and follow the steps. Flashing the global Rom on Chinese model will still not solve device not certified on playstore

It worked for me, my device is now certified but my DStv app doesn't play, it keep saying video playback error. Please help our Boss

Does it give any error code? You can go to settings, apps, dstv and wipe app data. Login again to see if the problem persist. You can also login to a laptop or PC with the same account to see if the same problem persist. If it does, open dstv app, settings and click on live chat to talk with dstv customer service reps

Did you install magisk props config module and busybox? You have to type su and hit the enter button before typing props. It is a root operation

No, device not certified has nothing to do with OTA updates. Make sure that your device is not rooted before updating via ota

Hi there, thank you for your videos. I watched both of your videos. I initially tried the short method via magisk and coral.zip on my Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G on which I installed an EU custom ROM. This didn't work. Device is not certified. I then tried this method, since there no Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G on the list in the emulator, I chose Xiaomi Mi 9 Global (didnt work) and Xiaomi Mi10 Pro, none ofthem worked. I can not pass the safety check in magisk and the device is still not certified. Any advices ?

Did you wipe playstore and Google play services app data? Wipe app data for both and reboot. What Android version is your mi 9 pro currently running?

Go to settings, apps, all apps, tap on the 3 dot menu on the top right select show system app. Search or scroll down to Google play services, wipe data. You can't have playstore without play services.

@@SmartDepot I did it too. Still does not go through the safetynet for the cts profile. The basic integrity is OK. In the emulator list, I don't see my phone. Is this why it does not work ?

Yes, but it is advisable to unroot, install stock recovery before installation of OTA updates. If you install updates manually with custom Roms then no problem

If you didn't see it then it means that your device is not certified - cts profile failed. Just download any SafetyNet checker app from playstore and run SafetyNet test to see if your device passes the test
