I’ve got to say these were hands down the best burgers I’ve ever made, thick and juicy and I had everyone asking how I made them. Didn’t have a flat iron press all I used was a small pot about the size of a burger to smash them and they were so good. Had to come back and thank this KZfaqr. Great job!!

Looks awesome! I've been making them like this for some time, I've learned that using drawn butter helps prevent the butter from burning and ya get less smoke in the house. Just melt the butter in the microwave and let it sit for a few minutes. Then, scoop out and discard the milk solids and you're left with the clear butter that has a higher smoke point.

@@purpstatus You misinterpreted my comment. Don't get me wrong, I love big, fat, juicy burgers cooked to medium, medium rare. But in this video, as stated in his description had you bothered to read it, he is cooking it the "smash burger" way. Smash burger only uses about 2 to 2.5 oz of burger, then piles 2-3 of them on each bun. Per typical douche bags on KZfaq, you commented on a post without knowing what the fruck you're talking about. Before embarrassing yourself in the future, make sure you understand what you're responding too before hitting enter. Congrats on your successful burger joint. What does horse meat taste like anyway?
