Thanks for showing us the harvesting and cooking with seaweed! It's such a good source of vitamin and minerals I would like to see more ways of preparing it in your meals. Great job always, Smashing!!

This looks incredible. I’d love to go foraging with you one day if I’m ever there with my daughter who loves your videos too! She loves the spider crabs and lobster 🦞 hello as always from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺

Sautéed onions and mushroom in butter then like yours add flour make a ru then add a drop of white wine cook a few mins then Guernsey cream can cheese optional Pour over half lobster tails serve with sauté potato. Or switch mushrooms for diced avocado add crab and prawns cheese on top and grill serve with french bread too. Yeah baby!!
@enakm1

I would say keep the cream. Then after you pour it over they Larry tail put a nice smoked mozzarella on it then broil it for 30 seconds and enjoy

That chowder looks amazing! Good job! I'm a chef and I like to see people create dishes not follow recipes, adding the seaweed was genius as was using some of the water you boiled the seafood in. I live in Seattle, WA, USA and would love to have you try some local seafood from around these parts, i.e. Dungeness Crab, clams, oysters, mussels, salmon, or Steelhead. Love your videos man, and have been subscribed for a long time. Keep up the great content. One of these times I'd like to visit Guernsey and drink a pint with you and your friends.

Your videos are incredible. You have tremendous respect and integrity for the environment also. I am watching all of them as many members of my family came from Guernsey. I live in the US - have you ever had Old Bay Seasoning from Maryland? Your cooking is on point, but this is a Chesapeake Bay staple! Keep up the fantastic work!!!

YUM!! Amazing how little time you need to get that great and hardy looking meal served. An idea for the lobster or crab is a bisque. They taste great and are hardy as well... if you want the recipe to a great lobster bisque, just let me know or ask one of your chef friends!! Great video! Love the foraging!!

It is the breed of cows they use in the Channel Islands. The cream can be incredibly thick. A neighbour had a herd of Jersey cows, and when I was a kid had the normal full fat milk, as delivered by the milkman, on my Weetabix, topped off by the Jersey cream and molasses sugar. Our village was also next to the coast and foraging seafood was a regular thing. As well as collecting seaweed to put on the compost heap, made awesome fertilizer :)

I used to love to go clamming, especially for steamers. My grandmother used to make her own clam chowder. My Dad said you could taste the Great South Bay in it. That’s the body of water on the south shore of Long Island where I live. Grandma was a great cook. Do you dig for mussels, too? Very entertaining video! Be well!
