So Meggy's coaching consists of: 1. Forcibly exposing the person to the *irrational* fear despite the fact that they *know* it's all in their head yet can't help it. 2. Belittling the person for having the fear, even though she's supposed to be helping them overcome it. 3. Making them deny any actual tangible points that the object they fear might have, which will end up backfiring and causing them to fear it even more. 4. Pretend the thing they fear is not actually there, when in actuality it is and denial of it's existence won't fix the problem. 5. Dragging others into the same situation in an effort to boost the confidence of the person, which could cause them harm and thus make that person fear the situation as much as the object itself. Mario's coaching meanwhile: 1. Takes the piss out of the fear itself, rather than the person who suffers from it. 2. Inserts himself as the fear, which becomes far easier to deal with since it's someone who they trust, rather being the one to subject them to the fear. 3. Controls the fear behind the scenes so they are not brought to actual harm (Instead he gets harmed when it goes awry due to the person overcoming the fear sooner than expected). Mario's a better coach than Meggy confirmed.

Exposure therapy is a very real and proven method of dealing with certain fears, so Meggy was on the right track. Not sure where she "belittled" anyone but Mario. Your 3rd point doesn't make much sense either. Nor does your 5th. Ultimately her problem is she's trying to bring sports coaching into what should be handled by a psychologist…

I HAVE THIS BOOK HERE IN MY HANDS! when the characters meet oz for the first time, they entered the room one at a time, and each one saw a different thing: dorothy saw a big head the scarecrow saw a princess the tin woodman saw a beast the cowardly lion saw a fireball after killing the witch from the west, they entered the throne's room together and the wizard was invisible, and when the lion roared to scare oz, toto, the dorothy's dog, ran away and hit a wall, and it fell revealing the true wizard.

Correction: Meggy sound proofed the box because she knew Mario couldn't be trusted to not expose himself, but also knew he would inadvertently or purposefully sabotage anything else she tried if she didn't actively involve him.

I honestly think some people in the comments have to realize that the whole fight in the end started because Mario said that it was all because of him, while it was because of both of them. I feel like if he said “I think I helped as well by making the tunnel of doom with the spooky Mario props” then meggy would have been like “yeah you did help in that factor Mario”. The reason why meggy and Mario get along so well but argue a lot is because they are like a yin-yang sibling duo. At some points they are loving towards each other and at other points they fight. They are also both prideful and competitive with explains their nature towards each other sometimes. I think this is why they are both my favorite characters

Watching this in spanish is a unique experience, mostly because Mario, Luigi and Tari are now speaking fully coherent sentences, albeit in a language I barely understand. With the Spanish audio on, I feel like I’m watching an anime, except the language is Spanish rather than Japanese.

If you think about it, it was a team effort. Meggy helped lead them through the tunnel of doom while Mario scared the crap out of them. And in the end, Luigi and Tari both faced their fears together. I think the moral of this video is: You can all ways depend on your friends, no matter how scary things can be. That and Mario’s chance of harming you is 50/50

Definitely a better written story compared to last few so far. Mario was actually somewhat helpful in his own way, even if he still caused the trouble. He wasn’t like last episode being antagonized. Using Luigi and Tari was definitely a good idea. The ending was funny but hopefully it isn’t overused too much. 👍 9/10

I’m MxM shipper (so there may be some bias, I’ll try not to be) but it gets annoying when they fight, especially when you consider how they became friends in the first place, and the bond they developed. I don’t mind them being friends, honestly it’s okay. Just have them fight less or no fighting at all, and have treat each other like platonic friends and I’m good.

Honestly one of favorite "modern" episodes thus far. The plot was creative and intriguing enough and the humor was REALLY good. I LOVED the little bits and pieces in-between and little details in the foreground and background that were so "meme-y" and crazy at random moments. XD (The one where Mario's singing the Mario theme sloppily and moving side-to-side in the background with a mask on after Tari uncovers the crate really got me on the floor laughing.)😂

5:29 I don't understand how Luigi can be afraid of a haunted house if he has explored one in "SM64: Stupid Luigi's Mansion" and managed to defeat King Boo to save Mario. Also in "R64: Revenge to Freddy Spaguetteria" much braver facing a lot of ghost animatronics, Springtrap and Purple Guy all to save Mario who had been turned into an animatronic.

Mario did put in most of the work. Refurbished the attraction, made the gimmicks, layout, etc. Sure, Meggy did coach Luigi an Tari, but the plan wouldn’t be successful without Mario.

I just realized it's officially been one year since Elsie Lovelock permanently took over voicing Meggy -- and to "celebrate" the occasion we get one of her absolute best performances as our fiery woomy girl ! 🧡 (Kevin long ago lost sight of or stopped caring what made Meggy popular to begin with, but Elsie still does great work)

Elsie has also been Saiko's singing voice since 2021 (so there was at least one episode where she and Lizzie both appeared), she voiced Evelyn in Meta Runner, and she's Uzi in Murder Drones. Because she also did some minor work in Sunset Paradise, she's the only actress to be in every Glitch production so far. More fun fact: Evelyn is closest to her real accent -- she's very British IRL

Mario's Tunnel of a Doom was a great way to show Courage, Strength, and Friendship, even though Mario got trapped by the Mario Head, Luigi and Tari stood up and managed to save him, and in quick order too. So we all learned a lesson today: You have to face your fears no matter what.

To be fair here, meggy’s haunted house full of cheap props and jump-scares would terrified people from the 1930s, Mario was right he deserves the credit. he brought out more of friendship. teamwork and be brave to Tari and Luigi. Plus a tunnel is way more scarier than a haunted house.

Genuinely great episode, I love seeing characters progress naturally, and I greatly appreciate Mario’s role of helping Meggy’s assignment of exposing Luigi & Tari to fears which never actually hurt them while still fitting his character as a benign harbinger of chaos. The sprinkling of memes are fresh and spicy like always, but I also got a hearty laugh out of the quick lamp-shading of Meggy summoning a haunted mansion; reminds me of SMG3 crassly questioning the moral of the episode where he and Mario fought Meggy and Tari in their deforesting endeavors. In all, this might top my favorite episode of this year, dethroning the bowling episode in my mind.
