Very nicely visualized. Great software to draw the Chronometric workings up. These meters can be a challenge to repair sometimes.

Me as a collector can say: it is also a challenge to find them in internet for a reasonable price.

As someone who is mesmerized by Chronometrics and fascinated by their works this animated representation is incredible. Thank you for posting.

This animation is simply superb and makes the witchcraft of the Chronometric speedometer simple to understand, and helps us to see why our own examples don't work as they should.

Thank you so much of this clear 'unravelling' of this marvellous instrument. I am sure it will help the daring amongst us to restore these marvels.

Could have been so good with those fantastic graphics, but let down by the dramatic music instead spoken word explaining the mechanisms. Also missed some key details - the detent ratchet on the mileage rings is missing, and the speed needle steps up/down in its movement - not a smooth movement as shown. That said, really spectacular graphics - I wish I could do that!
