I mean if your hair grows super slow I can see why you would want to do extensions. It takes me about 2 years to get three inches of hair. Meanwhile my homie grows his hair for a month and it’s longer then mine in 6. I’m thinking I’m going to go that route. Then because of my heir being short like that comb coils just come out when I sleep so I don’t see any other option other then loc extensions. Like yeah I would love to just do it naturally but is it really reasonable to have my hair grow out for 3 plus years so I can have dreads that are 1 inch long? Your hair grows at such a rate you can get three sets of dreadlocks in like 6 or 7 years. Then you just cut them off like it’s nothing and you tell me to just be patient 😂. I’m not mad at you bro but I just wish you would be more understanding maybe this guy isn’t the ideal example I idk how his hair grows but honestly I think it’s the best course of action for me.

Different length doesn’t mean it’s fake. For me I started with long hair. I had different methods done and so some are longer but more loose. My shorter ones are shorter and tighter, so they are very solid to the touch. But I do agree that his are fake to a degree with the squared off ends.

Dude I have dreads of different length,been growing them for a year now. Saying that dread length can be evidence of fake dreadlocks isn't even something you should consider saying. You gotta come with something better than that. You should know how dreads grow.
