In different configurations of engines, which engine is smoothest while running, perfectly balanced and is reliable ?
Finding the smooth running engine on the basis of engine layout and number of cylinders depends on two important parameters:-
1) Engine balancing (Primary force & Secondary force balancing)
2) Firing Interval
In this video , we will learn about the reciprocating force produced in the engine cylinder due to the change in acceleration that causes an imbalance inside the cylinder.
Also we will learn, how we can compare the smoothness of different engines on the basis of firing intervals.
