Try to keep the motions as small as possible. It takes a while to build the mechanics correctly so be patient and stay kind to yourself. You'll get it 👍

Any suggestions on how to get a good hill country electric tone?

There's a bunch of different tones in hill country but mostly its a pretty clean amp setting without any reverb. You could try a peavey or an ampeg. Bass amps are pretty good for this too

Heath is playing this in standard tuning. E Standard. It takes some practice to get the groove. Heath has a second lesson to this covering more of the electric guitar with slide.

How about some Chuck Berry Blues. I know he is known of course as the father of rock and roll but he was also a great blues guitarist.
