Black looks good till you get a little dust. trim the mat under the prybar or save that mat and buy a cheaper one to cut. i prefer the older power bank drawer over the newer one as well.

You need to invest in drawer guards in drawer protectors so your fingernails don’t put small scratches on the plate face when you open it I have them on my channel if you want an example

You could always just trim down the bottom of the plastic tray to fit in the drawers properly .

I looked at that and they actually set the prybars so deep in the tray that they are all the way to the bottom yet there is space at the top. So trimming the sides down wouldnt help. Almost have to put the prybars in a dou le drawer which is also a waste of space, or just ditch the tray completely. 😡 Ugh lol

Trying putting the tray towards the front of the drawer, it worked for me hopefully it works for you. By the way do you enjoy the hutch? I'm thinking about getting one for my 84" Epiq I just don't know if it's worth it.

I dont know why I didnt see your comment/question before. I apologize. 🤦‍♂️ Thankyou for the tray suggestion, I will try that...About the hutch, your absolutely spot on to be questioning it. I did for the longest time too. Honestly, Im still on the fence. If your tall it is a little awkward because its too short. You will bang your forehead into it if not careful. Im 6'3" and I have to bend over a bit or do a metal guitar gods wide stance to stand straight up. BUT...If you like to have stuff laid out or kept on your work surface and need to lock it up, then its a must. It also lets you store more stuff on top of the hutch now too. Watch my video on "How to Move Large Tool Boxes" and you can see me standing next to it to get an idea.

I love Snap-on boxes but would never buy on because they are way overpriced. I have seen too many techs with issues when you pay for new stuff at that price any issues should be taken care of period especially when I can buy it at five times the price of a similar size box that is good quality. Snap-on has been doing this for 100 years you would think the greedy bastards would get the payments build and tool holders to fit. The tools they make are good but the price difference isn’t justified in my mind. Hopefully they defer payments until you get back to work. You can’t add some of this stuff because they want u to buy a new one

WRECKERMANDAN I don’t blame you or hate Snap-on. I do however have an issue with how they do business it’s clear that a tool box definitely doesn’t cost that much to produce. However they don’t force anyone to buy it. I also over the years have had warranty issues with truck dealers because I wasn’t a huge purchaser on the truck. When you spend that much more the warranty and the company should definitely have stood behind the warranty. They talk the talk but don’t walk the walk. The other factor is warranty is to the original purchase person. Snap on dates their tools why? Things are done for a reason. If you have a tool that is older than you you obviously are not the original purchaser. The other thing is cost for the power tools and short warranty in most cases a year. I will pay less for Milwaukee and get a five year warranty. You can buy a whole mother tool if yours fails and still be cheaper than Snap-on ridiculous. I love certain Snap-on stuff and buy things that I needed right away or couldn’t get elsewhere. We didn’t have the internet 35 years ago. Do I think their tool boxes are better yes I do. I just couldn’t justify the cost. The cheaper tool boxes I can switch throughout my life so far I have only switched one time. I have purchased other toolbox’s because my collection has gotten too big. I still buy tools today it’s an issue my wife says and I know I just can’t help myself. I do understand the whole Snap-on thing I just never chose to go that route mainly because of cost. Good luck and I hope you are back to work soon

@John Gibson I have been able to find old Snap-on hand tools at garage sales and the truck guys have warrantied them for me. However, one time was difficult and they gave me grief. It is rediculous. I have not had the best experience with their cordless tools either. Notice how most of my tools are DeWalt. 🤫 I have noticed the trucks are carrying more and more gimmicky cheap impulse items also. Kind of disturbing. There are horrible stories online from Snap-on employees about how Snap-on runs its warranty coverage. The drivers are sticklers about warranties because Snap-on screws them over it also and that treatment and mindset then gets handed down to the customer.
