Thanks for this video, it was what I was really needing help with. I had an older chicago pneumatic 3/8 air ratchet CP828, didn't know which way the throttle valve went back in as it was completely missing. You got a like and a sub!

I went to use my Craftsman yesterday and the thing wouldn't shut off, I pulled that black plug out and the valve came out in pieces. I will try your hack with the HF die grinder, I have one just like it. Thank you for posting this.

Good grief, Jason. Are they sending it by horseback courier? It may be cheaper to buy the die grinder from Harbor Freight and take the gasket out of it.
