Mauna Kea Beach Hotel is currently undergoing a 180-million renovation which will include full renovations of guest rooms and a wonderful spa and adults-only area, which I can't wait to share with you. Today, we'll take a look at this beachfront room at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel.
Why stay at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel?
This is one of my favorite properties on the Big Island of Hawaii. This boutique hotel has 252 guest rooms (all of which will be renovated) in two separate wings. There is an onsite 18-hole golf course. Guests also have privileges at the nearby Westin Hapuna Beach, another one of the best resorts on the Big Island.
Will Mauna Kea Beach Hotel be open during renovations?
YES! They will start with the main tower, and the Beachfront tower will remain open. Once the main tower is finished, that will re-open and the Beachfront tower will have its own renovation. If you'd prefer not to stay here, contact me for more info about Westin Hapuna Beach. You can stay there and still enjoy some of the best parts of Mauna Kea Beach Hotel!
