About Southern Charm:
New relationships are forged alongside new resentments, but old habits die hard as these southern socialites grapple with shocking allegations that could fracture what were thought to be unbreakable bonds.
Fresh off a sabbatical in Australia, Shep has returned to Charleston and is ready to work on a friendship with Taylor, which proves difficult when he hears rumors about what she’s been up to while he was Down Under.
Taylor is still working through her breakup with Shep and has been leaning on best friend Olivia for support. When a potential hookup of hers is revealed, Taylor denies the allegations and is unapologetic about enjoying her single life.
Olivia has put Austen in the rearview as she explores the dating scene and focuses on her female friendships, but a confusing betrayal leaves her questioning whom she can truly trust.
After his hot-and-cold relationship with Olivia freezes over, Austen is left wondering why his romantic endeavors never work out. Now some of his closest friendships come into question when dating rumors start to surface.
The construction on Craig’s house is a work-in-progress, and so is his relationship status with Paige. Craig finds himself in dating limbo and is hoping for her to commit to a move down south.
Newly married Madison is settling into domestic bliss, with husband Brett splitting his time between Charleston and California. Though she is focused on mending friendships, she doesn’t suffer fools gladly and fires back at anyone who attempts to bring her down.
With a stable new beau in her life, Venita has left the feud with Madison in the past and is focused on new friendships with Olivia and Taylor. She’s not afraid to call out transgressions within the group and take sides if necessary.
JT is a successful southern eccentric with a loud personality. Buoyed by his professional prowesses, he’s looking for a partner to spend the rest of his life with and has a particular southern belle in mind.
Leva continues to be the voice of reason, providing a shoulder to lean on for the ladies and offering sage advice about the Holy City’s Peter Pans.
Rod is a staple in the Charleston social scene and a quintessential southern gent who has swept Olivia off her feet, regardless of who that might upset.
Rodrigo is an interior designer in a long-term relationship with boyfriend Tyler. He has been friends with the Charmers for many years and helps to keep them grounded.

Why is everyone giving Taylor a pass as if she is the first girl to get hurt by a guy. Most wouldn't try to sleep with all his friends while still trying to guilt him into taking her back not to mention how she is a horrible friend.

She came on to his friends to prove how desirable she is and also humiliate Shep the way she believes he humiliated her by breaking up with her greatness. None of this has anything to do with real love!

Taylor needs therapy! After Shep said that he sees her as a friend and then she threatens to date Austen, I realized that she has a mental illness. For her to even say something like that, knowing what happened this season, shows that Taylor doesn’t live in reality!

Since Paige doesn’t like Charleston or most of Craig’s friends, I’m not sure they’ll work out. JT may be a little much at times, but at least he’s honest and stands up for the women. He isn’t another “good ole boy” which the show has enough of. Rodrigo should be a full time cast member because he’s hilarious.

I think a lot depends on--- are these people friends or are they just a cast on a show and their personal lives the opposite. Charleston is a sight seeing town with nothing to do if you live there. Once you see it then its time to go home. So how do you live there and make a living is the problem. Getting together and getting drunk is no lifestyle to be living.

I haven’t yet watched this season, mainly because Austin is so effing intolerable. He’s so insecure that he always seems to string women along or hooks up with somebody else while in a relationship. It’s gross and I don’t understand why he comes back every single season. He has a little boy energy.. So happy to hear someone on the cast finally call him out.

Shep lied to Taylor from the beginning of their relationship - he never wanted to get married or have kids, but dangled the possibility that he would in time. Taylor used Austin to make Shep jealous but it didn’t work because Shep doesn’t care that much about anyone. Taylor, you picked a dud. Don’t waste anymore more time on him.

Second of all the women are not guilt free either cause how could any women want a father for their child like they are. Shep drinks too much and is terribly abusive. You should never raise children in that atmosphere.

I knew a ‘Shep” when I was 30. He was handsome and smart and came from money. He was a drinker like these guys. Any married a beautiful woman and he is a great dad now and a wonderful husband. He’s not the same cocky drunk he was in his late 20s. Early 30s. as women, I think we’re always hoping we can change the man. And some of them do need to be corralled in. 🐎 But she will never change because he has the option of hooking up with any beautiful woman and any town city state or country that he’s in. That’s pathetic reality. Beautiful young women from all walks of life through themselves at these men, and these men will never have to grow up or learn to commit. Taylor is too old to be sleeping with all of sheps boys to make him jealous. She was never this innocent girl…acting like this doesn’t come out of nowhere. And I don’t think she’ll be trustworthy around this group…the fact that she’s still throwing Austen in sheps face shows how much she doesn’t care about Olivia or that she did anything wrong! But him twisting her arm and openly having discussions/ hypothetical ultimatums. Not to mention having Double dates and that being the topic of discussion. It’s awkward. And it’s not organic. He should enjoy his girlfriend. Organically live with them evolving at their pace.

I think in some way shep brought out Taylor's bad side she was so different when they were dating. Does anyone remember the episode where shep started crying when both of their dogs were playing? I think this breakup will be the reason shep finally grows up and gets in a relationship that leads to marriage unfortunately it came at the expense of Taylor's reputation. I agree. I think Taylor is trying to be the type of girl that Shep “hooks up” with. Possibly she thinks that’s what he wants. A girl who requires no strings in a relationship. I think Shep is more of a jerk for this “let’s support each other” crap than the actual break up. Taylor clearly is looking for love and a relationship. Shep is not. He needs to stop leading her on.

It's time for this show to be over, it's run it's course and it's just not that interesting to see 40 something year old men act 22 and the women be so upset about them......FOR WHAT!!!!.........They're not worth it and Madison has proven, just move on and find someone worthwhile who's not afraid to commit and be a man.

Austen saying; JTs don't get the girls- i do. Is so gross. We have seen him fail at 4 relationships, bc cause of him. He has no healthy relationships. Maybe his family & i think the coddle his feelings, while disregaurding his bad behavior bc his sister's death trauma. I do believe that truama is why he is so scared to love even if that is what he wants. He keeps it all surface, bc the first love/bff/sibling died right infront of him. Wouldnt b surprised if he pushed past her causing her to fall (normal kid stuff- no blame). He needs real theropy. He has nothing of his own merit. That brewery is a single beer. JT's obsession with Taylor is what lead to the focus on Austin and her all season and has done her alot of harm. He doesn't seem to have realized that however.

Good point. On the episode that played last night one minute he's telling Taylor he loves her and is claiming to be such a good guy and then she friend zones him and in his next breath he's shouting that Austin slept with her. He's not as nice as he thinks he is.

Taylor did her own harm. She screamed at Craig, episode one saying Paige cheated on him& continued being nasty the whole show. She even pulled something so disturbing, by throwing Olivia's deceased brother in her face. I could go on & on. JT had nothing to do with her behavior, Taylor is just a nasty person all on her own.

The point I was trying to make is JT has at times done things provoked by his obsession with Taylor and has seemed to have had no awareness that he is hurting this girl he says he loves. He is not strictly a good guy as he sees himself to be. Again, the original comment was re JT.

Leva and Venita look amazing except Venita has wrong shiny black shoes. Madison has wrong hair and shoes for that dress. Taylor looks nice. Olivia is a disappointment and I don't understand her thinking on this one, really didn't try. For Taylor to insinuate Shep not good in bed shows she was in relationship for the money. Why is everybody so worried about Shep’s feelings regarding Taylor and Austin? Taylor wanted to marry him if he wanted her and truly loved her he could’ve had her forever but he chose to repeatedly cheat on her and even had the audacity to tell her that he enjoyed cheating on her. How dare he now get mad when she is desperately trying to move on. The only one who has a right to be upset is Olivia because Austin and Taylor did her wrong.

Things were fine when they went on that trip. The article that chemo was nothing new. So why Olivia got so bent out of shape I don't understand. I want to say I send my deepest condolences to her and her family. How did he ever get you and I agree Austin should stay single and work out whatever problems he's having because it's clear he can't commit to a relationship. Taylor apologized over and over again and it was innocent they were both broken up from their partners. Boston said keep it a secret and he's the one that let it out of the bag. I do not condone cheating but they were not cheating. And I don't think JT is a breakout star he was involving himself where he did not belong and look what he's doing he's trying to hook up with Taylor. Yet he's friends with Shep.

Taylor is dead wrong. Olivia was 20 years old, and she slept with someone who, granted was old BUT, she didn’t know the guys wife at the time until SIX years down the road. She didn’t become friends with Kathrine, and sleep with Katherine’s husband/ father to her children. Taylor did however become friends with Olivia, establishing a REAL friendship, yet Taylor was staying over Austin’s house and doing whatever else ALL while being friends with and hanging out with Olivia, which is what Taylor admitted to doing while Olivia and Austen were talking per what she said at the ice party she threw. Taylor spoke the truth to her brother and that’s why Taylor did what she did and lied. She felt that she was well within her rights. Lastly, Taylor is not a Christian by any book I know, which is the Bible. So her whole I’m a Jesus loving girl but out here screwing ppl and the list goes on makes actual Christians look bad because ppl think we’re alll the same.
