I never get tired of these! I watched all of these episodes as a pre-teen when they first aired in the late 1970s, and it's so refreshing to see them again. Thank you so much for sharing, and please keep sharing more! This was my favorite era of Siskel & Ebert -- when they were on PBS, with no commercial interruptions, and plus Dog of the Week! Thanks again.

Breaking Away is a great film.

The Villain was a huge flop. Hal Needham did a good job with Smokey and The Bandit and was a great stunt driver himself, but he had no business directing comedies with actors on the level of Kirk Douglas. Susan Anton was hot.

11:45. Boomer attack in Breaking Away. I like this movie. Very forgotten in 2024. Check it out.

I’ve never heard of Goldengirl but I remember Susan Anton and she was a babe. I wonder if NBC still aired it even though the US boycotted the Olympics.

It would of been funny imo if breaking away was titled breaking wind. It Kinda makes sense cause it's a bicycle race movie 😂 I wonder if the title or topic was ever brought up when they were naming this movie, which is btw 1 of my favorite movies of all time.

I hated 'Breaking Away'. Too annoying. Not funny, either. It could've easily been an 'After School Special'.

Not every movie works for everyone. Breaking Away is one of my all-time favorite movies, and in my opinion one of the best coming of age films, and is in my top 5 greatest sports movies.
