And they would explain the yes or no was whether they thought you should see it. They did that for a while.

Though I grew up in the 70s/80s, I never watched Meatballs. I watched it for the first time a few months ago and was shocked how tame and family friendly it was, seems like every movie about camping in those days was pure rated R stuff. Bill Murray was indeed likable in it, such an unlikely early movie for him.

When I was 10 years old, Meatballs was funny. Now that I’m older, it’s not funny. At least Animal House is still funny.

Yep, that's Bill McCutcheon. Fun fact: McCutcheon also appeared as Uncle Wally on Sesame Street for 15 seasons and as Adolf Hitler in fake ads for two issues of Mad Magazine.
