In this video I am giving my Snow Rose (Serissa) or a Tree of a Thousand Stars a glow up by potting it into a bonsai pot and giving it a nice pruning.

Just found this video, great information. I aquire my first Serrisa a couple months ago. BTW what type of doves do I hear in the background? Thank you

That is awesome thanks! 🌞🌱🌳 I am not sure exactly what dove or pigeons those are. I looked up and we have about 11 doves/pigeon species in the Gauteng province 🕊️

I've tried twice to grow a Serissa and unfortunately lost both times. You've got a lovely tree there! What sort of winters do you get? What protection do you give it?

Thank you. Yeah it is a tricky tree. I've brought it in every night in winter where we went below 7°C at night and brought it out during the day. Where I am (Guateng) we get mild winters. We rarely go below freezing and if we do it is because of a cold front and only lasts a couple of days. July is our coldest month with average of 5°C minimum and 18°C for the maximum. Our minimum temp is also only at the lowest for an hour or two before sunrise and our winters are dry, we barely get any rain in winter
