That cannot be a Baobab tree bro.. there is a Thai man who has grown his tree in 3 years and it is taller than his house. Why is yours so small? kzfaq.info/get/bejne/i7dmmtSWx9C3e40.htmlsi=XvtMGO20TDGVDl35

Probably only for a season if you simulate thecorrectconditions, like to overwinter it in cold climates but then after that it needs to be under real sunlight ☀️🌳

Thanks! 😊 I use a pre-mix soil I get from a bonsai nursery. I am not sure what is in it. Next time I am there I'll try and remember to ask. Just make sure that the soil you use is very free draining. Baobabs easily gets root rot if the roots stay too wet 🌳☀️

Good Day i have bought a thorntree bonsai... looks like an acacia /monkey thorn... I bought it 2 weeks ago... inside the house I left a fan on to cool down the living room... my bonsai dropped off all its leaves - I think I might have dried the plant out...😢 I have placed it outside now... I did water it a few days ago... will this work? - Any advice/help would be welcomed... the twigs/branches are still green...
@KleinBonsai
@KleinBonsai 4 ай бұрын
Hi Albert. The Monkey Thorns are deciduous and will drop their leaves in autumn/winter. They are not well suited for indoors as they love lots of sun. Rather keep it outside if you can. They also don't like constant wind on them. The fan probably made it think it was winter so it dropped its leaves. Continue to give it water as normal and they will leaf out again in spring 😊🌱🌳🌞

Your videos gave me some good ideas. Thank you! I recently (2 months ago) moved into a smaller place with nothing more than a grass in the garden. Since I am in a townhouse now, options for big trees are fairly limited, so decided on bonsai too. The seeds for my first bonsai trees are being planted tomorrow.

@KleinBonsai
@KleinBonsai 10 ай бұрын
Doesn't sound like a problem, if that is your goal 😂 As soon as you pot a tree, the growth will slow down. Also after repotting a tree might not grow a lot while recovering and adjusting to the new pot. Placement also plays a big role. Is your tree in the ground or much bigger pot? 🌳🌱🌞

@@KleinBonsai Actually it's just in a normal pot. But I gave him good soil and it had lots of sun and heat. He seems to like that a lot. I didn't want him to grow that fast but wanted to give him good growing conditions. I guess I overdid it a bit 🙄

So good to see you again and love the new bonsai area and benches. I did worry about you doing all that in bare feet and kept waiting for you to drop a block or something! Though I did notice you suddenly had a bandage on your foot. So what happened :)
@KleinBonsai
@KleinBonsai 10 ай бұрын
Haha, yeah. South Africans do most outdoor things barefeet 🤣I did manage do build everything and move those cement bloicks around multiple times without dropping it on my feet, but I did manage somehow to cut open my foot on the edge tile of the patio. It looks worse than it is, it wasn't deep at all 💪. I had to wrap my whole foot to keep the paster on the bottom of my foot 😁
