Please note, in future videos Im going to use this gun with M180 spring upgrade. (not with double spring)
Chronograph: XCORTECH X3200 MK3
Rifle weight: 7100g with magazine, without bbs, with scope
BB(s):
- 0.20g rockets bb
- 0.43g specna arms bb
- 0.90g steel bb
Airsoft Gun(s):
- Snow Wolf Barrett M107

I'm wondering why does joule change on different weight of bb. Shouldn't it be the same because the power is the same?

Basically, BB weight would change it because heavier BBs have bigger inertia. This means the BB will stay inside the barrel longer than lighter BBs, leading to the BB taking more energy the air has because it leaves the barrel later than a lighter BB.

The coils are too tight I guess, I think you might need to cut your M160 spring a bit. You need a longer inner barrel too, judging from the sound I think you're a bit overvolumed (3x more cylinder volume than barrel volume). Longer barrel will help you get a little more fps and make the gun quieter & last longer too.

Nope, m160 spring have the perfect lenght, I checked it. About the barrel, Im using 650mm x 6.03mm. I cant really get much longer barrel 😁

@@ashnguyen2950 I cant measure it. Around the same as my m24 cylinder size. The difference is m24 has longer cylinder, barrett has shorter but wider cylinder. I already made size comparison on this channel.

@@airsoftvseverything I thought the Barrett spring version has a bit longer cylinder than SVD spring. Would you do a rough measurement? Using standard ruler is fine. I am interested to see how big Barrett cylinder is

@@Azukaae yes, barrett has londer cylinder than svd have. Diameter is the same.

I have snow wolf m24 too... 700+fps/0.20g (6,7Joule with 0.90g steel bb) 😁

@@jaon2786I changed every single part to steel. (airsoftpro) Im using cutom made bolt handle, and homemade steel spring guide and an air rifle spring.

I don't have measuring tool, but with M180 spring, not hard at all. (With double spring mod, its really hard to pull)

Yes mainly stock. I only changed inner barrel and I reinforced the trigger sear

I would do it but impossible to pull up the gun with stronger or double spring like in the video... The charging handle is short and its not steel, just a cast aluminium

Only possible to pull up with 2 hands without the top cover.
