Snowpocalypse in Baltimore (Timelapse)

Well, we knew the storm was coming, and it sure did. A total of 25 inches of snowfall in Baltimore. This time-lapse video started on Friday, 3:38pm (2/4/2010) and ended on Saturday, 5:30pm (2/5/2010). The street is S. Bouldin in Canton.

I was in Baltimore when that happened. I'm from Brazil and had never experienced snow in my life. Well, until then... That was quite enough for my first time haha

Same happens in Athens, Greece.. But our snow stops on 0:19 You can barely see it stay on the strets:P

A blizzard to remember. the snowiest winter I ever been in since the winter of 2003. And as a long time snow lover, I was all in my glory and I cherished every moment of it :-)

I remember this storm. We had a hard time digging out the snow because in baltimore it had to have reached about 5ft! Early 2010 was a crazy time.

Thanks! I used the Nikon D90 camera, but you can do this sort of thing with pretty much any DSLR camera.

I live in St. Louis and thank god we don't get snow like this. We had a pretty bad season a few years ago. 32 something inches for the season, it was like the 3rd highest amount of snow we've ever had.

one of the greatest storms ive ever experienced..This wasnt a philly or Newyork city storm.it was all about Baltimore. we were the bullseye..and i loved every inch of it...

i wanna try snowmobiling in Balitmore...my theory is that Maryland probably has salters and plows but not enough in a huge storm like in montreal or Boston...would love to go sledding on the I-95 in a huge blizzard....definitely on my bucket list.

You should have gotten the folks that after digging their cars out put out the lawn chair to mark their spot that some how becomes your own personal city parking spot until the snow melts:) !

i live in toronto, and yes you guys have TONS of snow...and you can keep it! lol....although i wanna go snowmobiling in Quebec on those incredible trails you guys call "highways" ....i've heard Quebec is the mecca for sledding!

Very Cool! What setting was D90 on to do this time lapse? I have Canon 5D Mark 2 am I able to do same with video? I assume camera was set on tripod facing window? Hope to see more of you time lapse vids

i never seen snow. atleast not a lot at one time. i lived in south carolina and they barely get snow.

Here in new york city, we got NOTHING from this storm system. I was disappointed by this. However the 2/10 storm producing 10 inches and 2/25-2/26 storm producing 20 inches made up for it =P

Oh my Gosh we never had a snowstorm like this in austria we only have 1-2 metres deep snow in 2-3 DAYS..

I'm from austria (tirol) too. We have snowfall like this and even more. The snow in this video is about a half meter.. not 1 or 2... and yes we have sometimes snow from 1 to 2 meter . ;) i know what 2 meter snow looks like. :)
