Butter is one of the best things you can eat for good health. Btw roads look very well plowed up there!

I’m definitely a fan of it. Couple of the roads to my main rabbit spots have finally been cleaned up. Hopefully they keep up with them till the end of March!

Another good hunt. You've got me thinking about doing some rabbit hunting with a rimfire. I saw some good habitat on my squirrel hunt. If we could get snow (for tracking) here in Kentucky, perhaps I could bag a rabbit and some squirrel on the same hunt. Rabbit season ends Jan. 31, squirrel on Feb. 28. Happy hunting to you.

@@TheNorthLando I sure did buddy I hit up the woods to hunt many times a week. Hunting is my life and I happen to live in an area with a shit ton of bush all around that are chalk full of small game.

Thanks for your videos. With the help of this video, I realized what I thought were moose tracks are actually rabbit tracks. Might need some glasses lol

those hare are the size of keys deer compared to the cottontails i get down here
@TheNorthLando Жыл бұрын
That’s what I’ve been hearing from my more southern viewers, these are significantly larger. I’ve never seen a cottontail in person before, but a goal to experience a hunt sometime. They seem super fast!
@chamblen4 Жыл бұрын
@@TheNorthLando yeah, crazy fast, and we jump shoot them. Kick them up by walking through brush and shooting them when they run. You're welcome to come on down sometime

Looks like a fantastic day in the woods. At what yardage are you zeroing? I'm finding it difficult to shoot a 7 yard shot, and a 50 yard shot in the same day hunting snowshoe.
@TheNorthLando Жыл бұрын
Zeroed at 20 yards, I’ve found slight differences when reaching out farther but can generally tell where the round hits by the second shot😄

I hate to say it, but I wish it would snow a little here, that way it would make bunny hunt'n a little easier for me.
@TheNorthLando Жыл бұрын
Agreed, makes it much easier. When we have 0 snow but the hares have already turned white they’re like a white shopping bag on a brown background. But we generally don’t have any issues with snow here😅

@@TheNorthLando I bet not. Lol. Lots of snow there
