There's a strange melancholic quality to the way you've done this. Less anger, and so much more sadness. I've heard this song a hundred times, but I've only ever teared up twice - once when I heard the original live, and today when I heard your version. Thank you. For bringing this to all of us.

This definitely has Johnny Cash "Hurt" vibes. So haunting from the first word and it resonates with you throughout. You can feel the preservation of youth in his words and it also feels like a rebellion to the law that states we will all grow up one day. Stay forever young my friend because I understand your struggle and you definitely put your own stamp on such a dark Slipknot song and you gave it new life. Thank you.

Snuff is one of the heaviest songs slipknot have written, its soul crushing. Heavy isnt a particular sound, you can have a breakdown in drop g with low guttural vocals but it wouldnt come close to the lyrical content of snuff. Then the soft instrumental and melodies to back it just complete it all.
