@@MrBurns-uh7mm Oh piss off mate, no one came here to hear you bitch about your perception of ubuiquity. Be glad this guy is bridging the generational gap, not just by knowing who Slipknot are, but by covering their music. I listen to both artists on a regular basis and this guy has done a fantastic job.

This definitely has Johnny Cash "Hurt" vibes. So haunting from the first word and it resonates with you throughout. You can feel the preservation of youth in his words and it also feels like a rebellion to the law that states we will all grow up one day. Stay forever young my friend because I understand your struggle and you definitely put your own stamp on such a dark Slipknot song and you gave it new life. Thank you.

In some way, the softer instrumental/vocals actually makes the song much more cruel and harsh.
@tombailey23733 жыл бұрын
Snuff is one of the heaviest songs slipknot have written, its soul crushing. Heavy isnt a particular sound, you can have a breakdown in drop g with low guttural vocals but it wouldnt come close to the lyrical content of snuff. Then the soft instrumental and melodies to back it just complete it all.
